00:00I heard that you put Sly Stallone in the hospital for five days. Is that true?
00:04Well, what's it, six days? No, I think I don't.
00:07Yeah, what happened was we were up in Vancouver, shot for two weeks, and then when I got back to
00:12L.A.,
00:12the producer calls and says, hey, Dolph, you know, you got a couple of weeks off.
00:15And I'm like, why? He's like, Sly's in the hospital. I was like, oh, shit.
00:19And then I heard he had some kind of bruised heart muscle.
00:22I think some of the body shots, because you went really hard to the body.
00:25He hit me, too, really hard. But, you know, I was 10 years younger, and I was bigger than him.
00:30So maybe he took more of a beating than me.
00:33His heart had swollen up, and they had to fly him at low altitude on the special flight
00:38so that it wouldn't get worse.
00:40And they flew him down to Santa Monica, and he was in the hospital.
00:43But, you know, he was still only 36, 37 years old. He recovered.
00:48There's no CGI. There's no stunt doubles.
00:50If you go back and watch that Rocky IV, these guys look like they're really beating the shit out of
00:54each other.
