00:00Any questions?
00:02Thank you, Mr. President.
00:03We just heard the Prime Minister praise your efforts,
00:06you know, peace efforts.
00:08Do you think you can carry the momentum from the Iran deal
00:11over to securing an end to the war in Ukraine?
00:14And can you tell us about your conversations
00:16with President Zelensky here at the GSEC?
00:18Well, I had very good talks with President Zelensky
00:21and with President Putin,
00:23and we'd like to see that one end.
00:25I ended eight wars, and to be honest with you,
00:29I thought this would have been one of the easier ones,
00:31but they're not liking each other too much,
00:34and it makes it much more difficult.
00:36But we're working.
00:37I had two good conversations with President Zelensky
00:40and with President Putin.
00:41Will you let them build U.S. missiles?
00:48American missiles.
00:49They would like to be able to do that.
00:51We'll take a look at it.
00:52They have ass about it.
00:54How close are you to a U.S.-India trade deal?
00:58Very close.
00:59We've been there for a little while,
01:01and he's a very tough negotiator.
01:03He's one of the toughest, actually.
01:05So you look at this man.
01:06I'll give you a lesson.
01:08He's the most beautiful-looking man.
01:10He looks so nice.
01:11He's like an angel.
01:12But actually, he's as tough as he's a killer.
01:16He's a killer.
01:17He's as tough as they come.
01:18But he looks so good.
01:21So he gets you by surprise.
01:23But there's few people like this.
01:25People say, he's such a nice man.
01:27I said, no, he's very tough.
01:29He's a tough negotiator, and he loves the Indian people,
01:33but he also loves the U.S.
01:34We had Howdy Moody in Houston, remember?
01:38And the stadium was full.
01:41He didn't always say Trump in India.
01:43That was great.
01:44And we'll be going to India sometime in the future.
01:48President Trump, when will you go to India,
01:50and how do you see war as well?
01:52This is a group that will start under your first term,
01:54and this is a group that all the four countries are looking forward to.
01:59Well, we had a great visit last time in India.
02:01We opened up that new stadium, and I think there were 300,000, 400,000 people.
02:05It seated, like, about 150,000, and there were 250,000 outside,
02:13and there were 100,000 on the grass.
02:16That was — I don't know if that record's ever been broken,
02:18but we had a great — I had a great time in India.
02:21President Trump doesn't expect India to play any role in West Asia.
02:27Say it?
02:29Do you expect India to play any role in West Asia?
02:32Yeah, I do. I do.
02:33I think India plays a big role in everything.
02:36As long as he's the leader, India's going to play a big role.
02:40President Trump, you said in the Times that India has a great friend in United States,
02:45in Washington, D.C., in White House,
02:46till the time you are president.
02:47But some of your decisions recently caused trouble, concern in India.
02:52How would you like to assure people of India?
02:55Well, I said, as long as I'm president, we have a great —
02:58they have a great friend in the White House.
03:01I don't know where there might have been trouble, but I don't think so.
03:04I can tell you, everyone here, they love India.
03:07They have tremendous respect for this man.
03:10Tremendous.
03:13Go ahead, anybody.
03:14Go ahead, ma'am.
03:16Are there going to be sanctions that are going to be reimposed on Russia
03:20now that the focus is once again being shifted to the Ukraine-Russia war?
03:24We are looking at that.
03:25We're seeing how far the price of oil comes down.
03:28It's really tumbling.
03:29It's, I guess, 74, 75 right now.
03:32So it's down.
03:33It's soon going to be at the number that it was four months ago.
03:36It's pretty amazing.
03:37And on top of that, we will have an Iran without a nuclear weapon, which I can tell you the
03:43prime minister feels very strongly about that, too.
03:46What is your president here from European or G7 leaders?
03:49They were, to a leader, and we had G7 plus many others came, as you know.
03:56To a leader, they were thrilled.
03:59They could not have been happier.
04:00Well, this gentleman came.
04:01And that's a big, that's a big get.
04:05He came, and they are, they cannot even believe that it happened.
04:09It happened quickly.
04:10But it really didn't happen quickly.
04:12It happened, it's been happening for a long time.
04:15It's been happening from my first term, when a very evil man named Soleimani was killed.
04:21That's when it started.
04:22And nobody else did this but Trump.
04:24You know, you look at our president, 47 years, Iran took advantage of the world, the Middle
04:31East, but the world.
04:33Nobody did anything.
04:34The Obama deal was one of the dumbest deals I've ever seen.
04:37It was a road to a nuclear weapon.
04:39My deal is a wall to a nuclear, you're not going to have it.
04:43It's a wall to a nuclear weapon.
04:45Minesweepers, do you want the Europeans to send minesweeper folks?
04:48We don't need them, but if they want to send them, I think it's good.
04:51Has anyone committed to mining?
04:53Yes.
04:54All of them.
04:55All of them.
04:55Which nations?
04:56The ones that have that kind of equipment have.
04:59But every one of them have committed to being involved.
05:03And at this point, do you feel that Vladimir Putin is more responsible for the ongoing conflict
05:08in Ukraine?
05:09Well, I don't want to comment on that because I'm trying to get it settled.
05:12And that doesn't make it easy.
05:14Mr. President, you're on the cusp of making history with the possible peace in the Iran conflict.
05:20I like this guy.
05:21Who is he?
05:22Do you know what that is?
05:24Your reporters are much nicer than my reporters.
05:26Go ahead.
05:28But there is also a tragic loss of lives of Indian sailors recently, sir, in American strikes.
05:33Any words of condolences for the grieving families?
05:36Yeah, I do.
05:36I heard about that.
05:38It's a rough profession.
05:40There's no question about it.
05:42And we work together on it.
05:44This has been happening throughout time.
05:47But we work together on it.
05:48Yeah, certainly.
05:49We love all of those people.
05:51We love all of those people.
05:51They're great people.
05:51We love to have a lot of people.
