00:00Rasheed Rice was just released from a county prison after serving 30 days and I gotta tell you
00:07looks in good shape he ran away from CBS news cameras down there in Texas where he was serving
00:14his 30 days and not a full sprint but never showed his face to the camera and I gotta give
00:21this cameraman credit the cameraman kept up with him ran after him which is kind of obnoxious
00:27obviously but Rasheed Rice I'm watching his entire run to freedom uh right now there's a waiting car
00:34for him he gets in the back seat windows are a little bit tinted so you can't see him he
00:40takes
00:40off in a Range Rover Sport and uh he's now a free man still under probation of course uh because
00:47of
00:47the uh the accident that he caused and uh the rules that come with that you know can't get high
00:51can't
00:52do a bunch of things uh which is why he had to do the 30 days in prison because he
00:55tested positive
00:56for THC uh training camp for them starts in I think three weeks now two and a half weeks
01:01but Rasheed Rice is now officially out of prison obviously the NFL is not going to suspend him at
01:06all because uh unless you're gambling the NFL uh doesn't care about anything you do in your personal
01:12life uh but Rasheed Rice he was already suspended no he was suspended yeah but he should be suspended
01:17again because he violated parole like there's gotta be there's gotta be right I believe he should be
01:22not to play football but I would suspend him for a game yeah I would suspend him for one game
01:27because I think you gotta learn a lesson after the prison yeah say it again sorry he may get
01:32they usually don't NFL if you go to prison they usually wait for you to get out of prison before
01:37they do their their punishment so he can still be suspended he might get fined more but he look
01:43the the Chiefs aren't going to take any action against him uh but the NFL and I want to be
01:48very
01:48clear I'm not saying suspend him for the year but uh he should be suspended uh for a single game
01:54I think a single game is another valuable lesson to a young man who's what 26 years old who obviously
02:00uh has skirted with the law a few times now uh does not seem to be the greatest guy in
02:05the world but
02:05I'm not here to pass judgment on him but when you you have rules that allow you to be on
02:10probation
02:10and not be sitting in a prison and you violate those rules there are consequences to that his first
02:17consequence is losing his freedom for 30 days that's real that's tangible and I'll tell you this
02:22if losing your freedom I know 30 days does not seem like a long amount of time go try it
02:29and see how
02:30long 30 days is county jail is not a good place to be even if he was sequestered from gen
02:36pop which I
02:37don't know if he was or he wasn't it ain't a good place to be so 30 days in county
02:42jail doesn't kind of
02:44wake you up and help you grow up a little bit and start making better decisions in life then you're
02:49going to make bad decisions again it is an immediate wake-up call when you are put in a cell
02:55uh and you
02:56lose your freedom I don't care if it's for 30 days or for a year and a half uh it
03:01is a life-changing
03:02moment and should be a life-changing moment uh sadly it's not for everybody but Rasheed Rice is out of
03:08prison there were no chief players waiting for him wearing shirts though that said you know free
03:13four so maybe they got tired of his antics as well uh I'm sure he'll be welcome with open arms
03:19when he
03:19comes back and he's obviously a great football player hopefully he now becomes a better dude
03:24because he certainly has the chance to change the narrative of his life but Rasheed Rice uh out of prison
