00:00So, let's start with the former. Which NFL player or players would you put the most stock in for 2026?
00:10And I will begin with this question. What would you think about Devontae Smith fitting the bill on that?
00:19That was one of the first persons I thought of.
00:21Okay, so I realize Alex Counterpoint is going to be, but it is still Jalen Hurts throwing the ball.
00:27And I understand that, but even if they drafted A.J. Brown's pseudo-replacement, A.J. Brown is gone.
00:37Devontae Smith has shown he's already capable of being a 1,000-yard receiver with plenty of touchdown catches.
00:43Would you consider him as a viable candidate to buy stock in for this year?
00:48I'm not saying Calci has this set up, but we can figure this out.
00:52Yeah, no, he's a talented receiver for one. The two of them have a good connection.
00:57And now that A.J. Brown is not there, the lion's share should go to him.
01:01He plays for the Eagles.
01:03Go, Birds.
01:05Plus, because you said lion's share.
01:08No, I get it.
01:09That double backfired against you.
01:11The eagle's share? That doesn't work, though.
01:15It's up to you to figure it out.
01:16I kind of feel like you should switch it to a lion's player now.
01:21No.
01:22Okay.
01:23Jameer Gibbs is right there.
01:24You know, I know you're buying high on this player, too.
01:28You're buying high, for sure.
01:30Right.
01:30But I would buy stock in Myles Garrett this year.
01:33Oh!
01:35I had not considered.
01:36That's intriguing.
01:37Yeah.
01:38That's a player right there that...
01:39Man, you are buying high on that one.
01:41This is like buying Apple share.
01:42Right.
01:43It's already up there, but it's just going to stay up there and be up there.
01:47This is not like a...
01:48And it could still go higher?
01:49Yeah, exactly.
01:50So, that's one of those that I would say...
01:53I think, you know, Jameer Gibbs is a fantastic option because him getting the biggest share
02:02of the running back carry there.
02:04And touches.
02:06Because, you know, last year they wanted to use him just as much as a receiver, too.
02:10So, I would definitely buy in on him because don't you feel like even though Isaiah Pacheco
02:16is there and they've got a couple other dudes, they're going to say, well, it might be a little
02:21different now.
02:21You are the best dude.
02:24You're the best guy to have on the field.
02:26When we had Montgomery here, it was a back-and-forth power couple, but now you're going to be our
02:32bell cow.
02:33You know, I probably think that, but I'm intrigued to see how it goes.
02:37You know, like, I'm with you, and I probably think that's the way it's going to go, but
02:41I am curious about that.
02:42Yeah, I don't know what the split's going to be for him.
02:45I had two other running backs I wanted to pick y'all's brains about in terms of would
02:49you buy stock on these two going into the season.
02:51Anybody from the Bears.
02:53With Ben Johnson as the coach, he will find ways to make success out of their running game.
03:01What about Omarion Hampton and or Ashton Gentry?
03:05Now, two different scenarios, one in terms of Hampton getting injured, and then for Gentry,
03:10we've talked about this a couple of different times.
03:12The Raiders literally had one of the worst offensive lines in the last generation of NFL
03:19football when you look at yards before even first contact.
03:23So they've worked on that.
03:24Obviously, they have the potential for upgrades at quarterback, though also the potential to
03:30stay the course, just with a different guy.
03:33What do you think about those two?
03:36Gentry, I think Gentry struggled so much last year.
03:40A lot of people were like, oh, Gentry's, he's not any good.
03:44And I was like, I don't know.
03:45He had a rough season in terms of efficiency.
03:47It was brutal.
03:47You're also absolutely correct about that was a miserable team to play for.
03:51And that offensive line needed a lot of work.
03:53And they went and got Tyler Lindebaum, one of the best centers in the game.
03:57They're like, the hell with resetting the market?
03:59Yeah, exactly.
03:59They said, screw it.
04:00We're going to make sure this dude, three years, $81 million.
04:03We got the center position taken care of.
04:06And that should set up the entire, like, that should be the dude that's setting the tone
04:10for the offensive line.
04:12They also got one of the dudes from the Niners, I think Burford.
04:15And then they went and got a new offensive line coach as well.
04:18So I think that they spent a significant amount of time saying they want to.
04:24But just like with the Cowboys' defense, we won't see that until the work
04:29actually gets put in.
04:30The Cowboys said and did the right things.
04:33Now will we see it pay off?
04:35So we'll hopefully see that for Gentry.
04:37As far as Hampton, I think he's a really good running back.
04:39I just think there's some toughness that I'd like to see a little more out of him
04:42that can get some of that extra stuff.
04:45Yeah.
04:46So he's one of those that I'm waiting on.
04:48What do you call that in the stock market, Kevin?
04:51When you're just kind of, I'll sit on this one.
04:53I'm holding on Omari on Hampton.
04:55Holding hope?
04:55I'm holding.
04:57And then if it starts to look like that first 60 yards he gets,
05:03then I'll start buying.
05:04All right.
05:04But if it's four carries for five yards, are you going to rashly be like,
05:07that's it?
05:08Yeah.
05:08Sell!
05:09Yeah, I'll just be like, well, it's obviously because he's on a team
05:11with Justin Herbert.
05:13Oh, man.
05:13Alec, is there a player or players that you would buy the most stock in for 2026?
05:21I do want to touch on the Hampton thing real quick because something interesting
05:25that I didn't really think about until recently, Mike McDaniel being the
05:29offensive coordinator in Los Angeles now, he has totally different personnel
05:35in terms of just length and size compared to when he was in Miami.
05:40I didn't realize how small his team was in Miami.
05:45Right.
05:45He has a bigger quarterback.
05:46He has a way bigger running back now.
05:48Running back, yeah.
05:48He has way bigger wide receivers.
05:50I'm interested to see how he adapts to having just more massive humans on his team,
05:56which is a very simple thing to think, but it's very different when it comes to
06:02the element of speed and verticality in your offensive game planning.
06:05I'm interested to see what he does there.
06:08But a player, there's a wide receiver that I'm interested because he started off the
06:13year last year really hot.
06:15He kind of faded, and now he seems like he could be the dude in Tampa Bay, Emeka
06:20Buka.
06:21Yeah, I'm with you.
06:22That's a guy that I would buy a ton of stock in just because it's his turn now.
06:26Chris Godwin is still there, but he's shown that he can't stay healthy.
06:30And you have decent play calling in Tampa Bay, and you have a good quarterback in
06:34Baker Mayfield, who is angry that he doesn't have a contract right now.
06:38If he goes into the season without a contract, he could go out there and throw 40 touchdown
06:43passes just to give the proverbial finger to the team and say, well, you should have
06:47gave me the deal, you know, because now I'm going to go reset the market with whoever
06:50wants to pay me.
06:52Buka, he has a ton of skill.
06:55He's quick.
06:56He's shifty.
06:57He's got every asset that they could ask for.
06:59And with Mike Evans not being there anymore, they're going to really need him to step up.
07:03Yeah, I think that's a great one to throw in there.
07:06I got one that I like a lot from the fan text.
07:09Okay.
07:10661.
07:11What about Bo Nix or Jalen Waddell?
07:14Jalen Waddell's already a good receiver.
07:16I think he makes Bo Nix better.
07:18I could see that.
07:19And I think I would buy more stock on Bo Nix this year, even though Bo Nix is one of
07:24those characters where you're like, he was bad for most of this game, and then he was
07:29the best and you couldn't stop him.
07:31But I would definitely buy in on Bo Nix this year, probably, and Jalen Waddell being in
07:36a now Sean Payton run offense.
07:38Yeah.
07:38Then I have this question about, there's three people I want to know who you would buy the
07:42most in.
07:43Okay?
07:44Okay.
07:44You're all from the Bears.
07:46Ooh, okay.
07:46Colson Loveland, the tight end, who just at times just rocked.
07:52Romo Dunze or Luther Burton?
07:55I think I would go Loveland.
08:00Yeah, I think I would go Loveland first.
08:03Okay.
08:03What about y'all?
08:04For me, Burton is the lowest buy that could net me the most.
08:09Because the only time we saw him show out is when he played the Cowboys.
08:11Yeah, exactly.
08:12And he just struggles.
08:14But now with one receiver gone, maybe he does get more opportunities.
08:19But Odunze did start to grow a little bit last year, and that connection got a little
08:23bit better.
08:24So I'm just wondering which one of those is going to be the key to it all.
08:27But I think you're right.
08:28Loveland seemed to be the target that Caleb Williams was able to find most consistently.
08:33But that does feel like a positive omen for the Bears when you're like, hey, here's three
08:37essentially skill position players.
08:40Which one do you think will advance the most?
08:42Yeah, exactly.
08:43That feels like a pretty positive spot to be in.
08:46903 says Jonathan Mingo.
08:49No.
08:50That's a buy low penny stock, right?
08:51They are being sarcastic.
08:53I don't believe that.
08:54I do believe that.
08:55The fan text is not known for being sarcastic.
08:57Yes, the fan text is known for being sarcastic.
09:00But you know what?
09:00But sometimes you can have fun with them for that, because somebody texted in the last
09:04break, and they go, oh, did you go to the Mavs 2011 championship parade?
09:08Oh, wait.
09:09And then they texted back in a minute later, the 06 championship parade.
09:13And then I texted them, and I was like, you messed that first one up, huh?
09:16And they go, I sure did.
09:18I was at the 11 parade.
09:19Yes.
09:20Yeah.
09:20Avery got a high five from Dirk.
09:22Oh.
09:23He was on my shoulders.
09:24What about Jaden, Daniels, and Terry McLaurin?
09:29You know what's really interesting about this, is we had isolated several players, but there's
09:33a whole bunch of people who were like, I think it's got to be in cooperation with the
09:39quarterback and the wide receiver, which I get.
09:41For me, I am selling all of my Terry McLaurin stock.
09:45He has one more really good year.
09:48And I don't know which one it's going to be, but he's 30 years old.
09:51And the holdout last year, you saw the effect that it kind of had on their connection.
09:56And then Daniels couldn't stay healthy, too.
09:58So, like, this is tough, because I love Terry McLaurin.
10:02You know I do.
10:03He stayed pretty much healthy for four straight years.
10:09And most of his career hadn't really had any injury woes.
10:13We talked about the perils of paying the 30-plus receiver.
10:18Even Terry McLaurin was asked about that.
10:19He's like, hey, you know, I'm going to see what I can do to break the trend.
10:23Instead, he gets injured, has career lows in everything, and now he'll be turning 31
10:30right after the season starts.
10:31I would sell my Terry McLaurin stock, because I think you've already seen the peak from him.
10:36I'm not saying that he can't be a solid player in the NFL, but I do not see him as
10:43a player
10:44that can rise up.
10:45Yeah.
10:45No, I'm right there with you.
10:47I feel like that will be a declining stock.
10:49Jaden Daniels, though, that's a different deal, because...
10:52I have no clue what's the thing, dude.
10:53Exactly.
10:54And, like, you can't help but wonder, and I've heard the same thing, RG4.
10:58I get that.
10:59But yet again, when he was just clicking on all cylinders as a rookie, you're like, oh, no.
11:05That's...
11:06So, a dude that was a rookie that I'm...
11:08I will buy more stock in this year is Tetzaro McMillan.
11:13I'm with you.
11:13I drafted him in fantasy last year.
11:15He was like a fifth receiver, and he was my third dude consistently.
11:20He was putting up the numbers that I needed for him to score each week.
11:24And so, like, whether he...
11:26It took a while for him to get touchdowns.
11:28I think it was five or six games into the season.
11:30It took a while for that to happen.
11:32But he was consistently the number one target for Bryce Young, and he showed that he could
11:38get open just like we saw him in college do.
11:40Just, he's a big body, great target, and he finds ways to get open.
11:45So, like, I think that he's just going to excel in year two with Bryce Young.
