00:20Lebanon became involved in the conflict on March 2nd, when Hezbollah opened fire on Israel in support of Tehran.
00:26It has since suffered the deadliest spillover in the region, with thousands killed and some 1.2 million people uprooted
00:34from their homes.
00:35The Israeli military has spent weeks carrying out operations in border areas,
00:40saying it is targeting Hezbollah positions embedded within civilian areas.
00:45Communities in the south have also suffered extensive damage to homes, roads and basic infrastructure.
