Israel launched a series of new strikes in southern Lebanon on Thursday after Hezbollah rejected a ceasefire agreement. The strikes come as the US tries to work out a deal to end the conflict with Iran, with US President Donald Trump saying he’s aiming to halt fighting in Lebanon to make the deal happen.
