The Standing Finance Committee sitting descended into uproar late on Friday evening as members of the Government and Opposition claimed that their mics were being muted during the sitting. The raucous lasted several minutes with Speaker of the House Jagdeo Singh trying to maintain control before the sitting was ultimately suspended for 10 minutes.
