00:00Very good evening, you're watching 5 Live. I'm Suwesha Samath and this evening our focus is on the admit card
00:07kiosk before the NEET re-exam.
00:10Now remember this is a re-exam that is already happening for students and while they are going through that
00:15rigmarole that is to happen on the 21st of June,
00:18this after the NTA had a shot that there will be no glitches this time but students say they're facing
00:23technical glitches on the NTA website.
00:27We'll also get you details on the NEET refund scam that has been busted, a Bihar youth who's been caught
00:34in this connection
00:35because he hacked into the accounts of several students and he had their refund money going into his account.
00:44More than 350 students that he's duped in this respect and the man has finally been caught.
00:49But students now hoping that in the week to the re-exam to happen on the 21st of June,
00:56there should be no other problem that occurs and the NTA also hoping the same.
01:01We'll get you all the latest details on these top stories.
01:03First a quick check of the headlines we're getting you at this time.
01:09Amish, a diplomatic breakthrough in West Asia on Donald Trump's 80th birthday.
01:14Trump says the Iran peace deal is complete, has also announced the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz
01:20and an end to the US naval blockade.
01:23Tehran too has confirmed the agreement saying military operations will seize across all fronts including Lebanon.
01:31Even as Washington and Tehran celebrate a breakthrough, Israel is refusing to fall in line.
01:37Prime Minister Netanyahu's allies have rejected the US-Iran agreement with Israel's defence minister insisting
01:44that Israeli forces and troops will remain in Lebanon, Gaza and Syria.
01:50Prime Minister Modi has welcomed the US-Iran understanding saying the conflict caused widespread economic disruption and loss of life.
01:59Prime Minister Modi has also expressed hope that the agreement will restore peace and stability in West Asia,
02:05safeguard freedom of navigation and commerce.
02:10In his second leg of his two-nation visit, Prime Minister Modi has reached Slovakia
02:16where he was welcomed by a local Slovakian musical group performing ancient Sanskrit chants.
02:22He was also offered bread and salt as a symbolic gesture representing respect, hospitality and goodwill.
02:30Prime Minister Modi has also held bilateral discussions with Slovak Prime Minister discussing trade, tech and tides.
02:38Fresh twist in the TMC rebellion, chief of NCPI party has questioned rebel MP's decision to merge with his party,
02:45claiming there was no consultation and no formal link with the breakaway faction.
02:50This after rebel leaders seek separate recognition in parliament and pledge support to the NDA.
03:00And first up, we'll also tell you of the fresh concerns for the NEED re-exam candidates.
03:07Now, several students have said that they're facing technical glitches while trying to download their admit cards,
03:12with the NTA portal reportedly showing maintenance messages and blank screens.
03:17The issue that comes amid heavy traffic on the website, prompting anxiety among candidates ahead of the exam to happen
03:25on the 21st of June.
03:49A major boost to air connectivity in Delhi NCR, commercial operations have officially begun at the Jewar International Airport.
03:56Earlier, the first flight-carrying farmers who gave land for the project landed in Lucknow.
04:00The government has hailed the airport as a key milestone in India's expanding aviation infrastructure push.
04:09A powerful dust storm that has swept across Delhi NCR, bringing strong winds, dark skies and reduced visibility.
04:16The IMD has issued a red alert for thunderstorms, heavy rain and gusts of up to 80 km per hour,
04:24urging residents to stay indoors as authorities monitor the rapidly changing weather conditions.
04:32UK is preparing for a major crackdown on children's access to social media.
04:38Prime Minister Keir Starmer has backed a proposed ban for users under the age of 16,
04:43arguing that online platforms are harming young people's well-being.
04:47The move that would place Britain among a growing number of countries, tightening digital access for minors.
04:57Google CEO Sundar Pichai snubbed at Stanford as students staged a protest during the university's 2020 since graduation ceremony.
05:05As Pichai was introduced, the students stood up from their seats, waved Palestinian flags, blue whistles and chanted slogans in
05:13protest.
05:23And first up, we cut across to breaking news coming in.
05:25RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat's reply to Karnadaka Home Minister, where he said that RSS is not a secretive organization.
05:34Mohan Bhagwat has put out this straight-up message to Priyank Karge, where he said,
05:39Why should we register? That's the question he's asked.
05:43Bhagwat's pure politics jive that he's thrown at Karnadaka Home Minister Priyank Karge,
05:48where Bhagwat has said to the Congress,
05:51Your government banned us twice.
05:53That's the straight-up message coming in from RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat,
05:56who said that Karge is trying to create doubts.
05:59Earlier, Karnadaka Home Minister had written to RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat,
06:03and Karge Jr. had demanded transparency on finances and operations.
06:07Listen in to what Mohan Bhagwat has said on this matter.
06:11And we are not secretive. We are working on open ground.
06:14We are calling people and telling them about Sangha.
06:18This is politics.
06:19And all these gimmicks are being tried.
06:23We will do that.
06:24We are used to it.
06:27After, say, 10-15 years
06:31of starting of Sangha,
06:32we had to face all these things.
06:35We are used to it.
06:36If they don't happen,
06:37we feel something is amiss.
06:40So I don't need to response.
06:42Sangha started in British times.
06:46And Sangha started as a public will.
06:53See, they are free to write to anybody.
06:56They can write to even Prime Minister.
06:58But what is the point of writing
06:59when more than 70% of the farmers have agreed?
07:02And it is not a project of anybody's personal project.
07:07If the farmers are willing, we are doing.
07:08If they are not willing, we cannot do it.
07:10And out of more than 7,500-odd acres,
07:13everybody has agreed to it.
07:15Only 1,000, 1,500 or something is left.
07:17If they are not willing, we will not.
07:21Moving on, just days before
07:23one of the country's most important examinations,
07:26thousands of NEED aspirants
07:28who say that they are not battling
07:30questions on physics, chemistry or biology,
07:33but technical glitches on the MTA website.
07:36Lacks of students preparing
07:37for the NEED undergraduate re-examination
07:40to happen on the 21st of June,
07:41where fresh concerns have emerged
07:43over admit card access.
07:45Students attempting to download
07:47their re-need admit cards
07:49claim that they are being greeted
07:50with under-maintenance messages,
07:53blank screens and repeated failures
07:55while entering mandatory bank account details.
07:58For many candidates, the question is simple.
08:01If the exam is just days away
08:03and literally a week to that,
08:05why are they still struggling
08:07to access their admit cards?
08:09The concerns are particularly significant
08:11because this is a re-examination
08:13that was ordered after the paper leak controversy
08:16and complaints surrounding
08:17the original NEED process.
08:19After months of uncertainty,
08:21students expected that a smooth
08:23and transparent system
08:24as assured by the NTA would follow.
08:26Instead, many who are now saying
08:28that they are facing fresh anxiety.
08:30The National Testing Agency
08:32has acknowledged the problem.
08:34The NTA has said that nearly
08:35four lakh candidates have already
08:37downloaded their admit cards
08:39and attributing the difficulties
08:41to heavy server load.
08:43It is insisting that the bank
08:45verification process is necessary
08:47and says that technical teams
08:49are working round the clock
08:50to resolve this issue.
08:52But the glitches have raised
08:53uncomfortable questions.
08:55Was the system adequately prepared
08:57for the rush of candidates?
08:59Why was a mandatory verification process
09:02introduced at the final stage
09:04if the infrastructure to support it
09:07was not ready?
09:08And can the agency guarantee
09:10that no student will be disadvantaged
09:12because of technical failures
09:15beyond their control
09:16in the next coming week?
09:18The timing is very crucial.
09:20Last week, the NTA had unveiled
09:21a major overhaul
09:23of the examination process,
09:25extending the exam duration
09:27to 195 minutes
09:28and doubling rough work pages
09:30in the booklet.
09:31The changes were projected
09:33as part of a larger effort
09:35to restore confidence
09:36in the examination system.
09:38But for many students tonight,
09:40the immediate concern
09:42is far more basic,
09:44not exam reforms,
09:46not new, bigger rules
09:48to be introduced,
09:49but simply getting access
09:50to the admit card
09:51they need to enter
09:52the examination hall.
09:54Now, with the June 21st re-exam
09:57that is fast approaching,
09:58aspirants are hoping
09:59that the authorities
10:00can resolve the glitches
10:01quickly and ensure
10:03that technology does not
10:04become the latest hurdle
10:05in an already turbulent
10:07Leith journey.
10:10A lot of children
10:11are sharing
10:13that the admit card
10:14is not able to download
10:16Are you able to download it?
10:18Yes, no.
10:19This is clearly mentioned
10:21that there is a
10:21fee refund verification link
10:24when I have
10:24to get the admit card
10:25downloaded.
10:26And on Twitter
10:26they have tweeted
10:27that there is a glitch
10:28and it will go.
10:29It will happen every time.
10:31When you open the portal,
10:32the portal is open.
10:33Some children say
10:34that the portal is not open.
10:36You will be loading it.
10:36Yes, this portal
10:37is going to be loading it.
10:38You will be sitting
10:38for one hour.
10:39After one hour,
10:40the portal will open
10:41or not open.
10:41There is no problem.
10:43So, what is it going to be
10:43in your mind now?
10:45At this point,
10:46there is a need
10:46tension.
10:47You have to appear
10:48in June 21st.
10:50There is no need
10:50to open the portal
10:51and there is no
10:51entry.
10:53There is no need
10:54to open the portal
10:54and there is no
10:54entry.
10:55Yes, I mean
10:56I have to check
10:56that my center
10:58is in there.
10:58So, I am
10:59prepared
10:59that.
11:01You have made such a big organization and you have to connect the paper on it.
11:10But you are not able to maintain your own website.
11:13Before you know that you have submitted a paper on it,
11:18you are preparing to load your own system, but you are not able to handle it.
11:25So did you have written a mail or tried to reach out to you?
11:30Yes, I replied in a tweet. Many kids are also giving me a tweet.
11:33But they have just taken the inconvenience and regretted it.
11:39My colleagues, Trishti Ojha and Anmol Bali now joining us on the broadcast.
11:43Anmol, I would like to come to you first because you are talking to a lot of these students who
11:46are facing these glitches.
11:48What have they explained to you?
11:51See, yesterday we have seen in the evening the National Testing Agency has released admit cards for the students,
11:56those lakhs of students, those who will be appearing for NEET re-examination, NEET UG re-examination.
12:03And we have talked with students across India from Uttar Pradesh to the national capital,
12:07those who are saying that they are facing difficulties while they are trying to download their admit cards,
12:11especially when they are trying to verify their bank details on the NTA portal.
12:14But on the other hand, National Testing Agency has also said that around 4 lakhs students have already downloaded their
12:21admit card.
12:22They have already questioned student earlier also,
12:24that due to the heavy load on the National Testing Agency website,
12:30the website could see technical glitches, could witness technical glitches, keeping all that in mind.
12:34Students are currently seeing blank screens, a site under the maintenance,
12:38while they are trying to verify their credentials on the National Testing Agency website.
12:42But on the other hand, the NTA glitches are currently taking place.
12:47They have also mentioned in a statement that the teams are working round the clock to solve the issues,
12:52because this is a very crucial time.
12:53Only five days are left for the examination.
12:56Students are tensed and also disappointed with the arrangements made by the National Testing Agency.
13:00Suesha.
13:02Anwal, this is very, very disappointing, because firstly, this is a re-exam that is happening.
13:08When there has been so much anger among students over the fact that the paper leak happened.
13:13And while the NTA has been promising an overhaul, they've been justifying their very existence.
13:19But that aside, they had assured a very smooth run-up to the re-exam on the 21st of June.
13:26Just a few days left.
13:27I mean, this is not what the students deserve, that at this last leg of the re-exam to happen,
13:33and these are the sort of glitches they face.
13:36Suesha, as you know, only five days are left for the examination,
13:38and all students are currently preparing for their e-need.
13:41This is not the very first time they will be appearing for their e-need examination.
13:44They have also appeared earlier, but later we got to know that exam was cancelled due to the paper leak.
13:49So they are already disappointed, and even not just from the National Testing Agency,
13:54also from the CBSC, because earlier we have seen that due to OSM system,
13:57lots of students have said that their marks were reduced,
13:59and even they have also complained about the technical infrastructure of the CBSC.
14:03And now the National Testing Agency's technical infrastructure is under the scrutiny
14:07where students and as well as experts are cautioning NTA, CBSC,
14:11as well as the education system of India for their incapability to make students
14:19easily and smoothly access the websites.
14:24Suesha.
14:25All right.
14:26And we'll do stay on.
14:27We'll also try and reconnect with Sueshti at a later point.
14:29But a lot that the students are having to go through at this point,
14:32and several questions that the NTA must face, especially with regards to these glitches,
14:38especially with regards to the fact that just five days are left to the exam.
14:41And most importantly, the very many assurances that came from the NTA to say that the students need not be
14:46worried.
14:47This time nothing will go wrong.
14:48The NTA will ensure that they create a process in place that the students are not inconvenienced.
14:54But most importantly, this process that was introduced and the NTA is now saying that there has been a lot
15:01of load on the server.
15:03If the infrastructure was not ready, then why is it that the NTA had introduced this verification process,
15:11which they call mandatory, and that on the final stage, when the exam is just a few days to go,
15:18are the many questions that the NTA suddenly needs to face.
15:28And the other big story with regards to the NTA exam, where it's less than a week,
15:35but a disturbing cyber fraud case that has raised fresh concerns over the safety of the student data,
15:41and the vulnerability of aspirants already under immense pressure.
15:45Now, lakhs of students who are focused on securing their future through this exam,
15:52it is one of the toughest entrance exams that India has.
15:56Investigators are saying that cyber criminals who are busy targeting candidates themselves.
16:02In a major breakthrough, Ahmedabad Cybercrime Police that arrested a Bihar-based accused,
16:08his name is Naveen Yadav.
16:10He allegedly exploited weaknesses in student accounts to divert refund money
16:17that is meant for need aspirants into his account.
16:20Now, according to investigators, the accused targeted more than 350 need aspirants
16:25after identifying the student login IDs linked to the need portal.
16:29The police have said that this man then used brute force techniques
16:36to crack passwords, allegedly exploiting weak credentials that were used by candidates.
16:42After gaining access to student accounts,
16:45the accused, who is alleged to have changed bank account details on the portal,
16:50replacing the candidate's information with his own.
16:53Investigators claim that he then diverted refund payments of approximately
16:571,700 rupees per student with refunds belonging to at least about 150 candidates allegedly rerouted.
17:05The refund money that was ultimately credited to accounts controlled by the accused,
17:10prompting a cyber crime investigation that led to his arrest.
17:15Investigators say that there are several such fraudsters who are creating fake telegram channels
17:20claiming that they could provide re-neath question papers luring students with so-called premium access,
17:28collecting money through UPI and QR codes.
17:30The accused allegedly used fake member accounts to build credibility and rooted funds
17:35through multiple accounts and gaming apps.
17:38Crucially, the police is saying that no read-neath question paper that has been recovered so far.
17:44So, in that sense, there is no leak of sorts and the students are safe.
17:48Pati accused is now in custody as investigators probe the full extent of the fraud
17:53and whether others were involved in the operation.
17:56So, they are also now trying to ascertain that this fraud that is not just restricted to this particular individual
18:03or this particular group, but hopefully it is not trickling on to others who may be trying to trick students.
18:12If the exam was canceled, the government announced that the refund amount will be transferred to their account.
18:19And in that sense, there was a cyber crime gang.
18:22If you look at the login ID and the password, if you look at the login ID and if you
18:26look at the login password,
18:27there was no two-factor authentication.
18:29If you look at the password, select your security features or questions, these are the help of brute force.
18:34We had the help of the NTA's technical team, CSI officer and other technical team.
18:38We had the help of their websites, which was entered and entered.
18:41They were able to take care of how to operate.
18:43We were able to take care of ROP Naveen Kumar Shankar Prasad in Bihar.
18:47We were able to take care of the cyber crime in Ayamdabad.
18:51When prisoners were charged, they were able to take care of the people in the middle of the много of
18:55the public.
18:55They were able to take care of a school.
18:57They are also affected by the Черni.
19:03In this way, the username is very important.
19:15And though the amount is very small, it was around 1,700 only, but the thing is that they
19:21were able to use the, crack the password of more than 150 students.
19:25They targeted almost 350 students, but they were able to successfully hack the account
19:30of more than 150 students.
19:31And from their accounts, they have changed the details and then they transfer the amount,
19:38the refund amount, which will be done by the NTA.
19:42So there will be some glitch on the website, they have used some issues from the website
19:50as well.
19:51And the other accounts they were able to crack, have the weaker password and that's why they
19:59were able to hack it.
20:00The other part, the other two individuals who have been caught or arrested by the cybercrime
20:05were from the Rajasthan and they were selling the paper on the name of re-knit papers, which
20:12will be held on 21st June.
20:14So they were selling the papers via social media, telegram link, they were sending, they
20:19are trying multiple accounts, they were using multiple accounts.
20:22We have already reported the same complaint, when the complaint was done with the cybercrime,
20:28the individual has said that they had the call recording, how the paper will be purchased,
20:34how it will be sent and what are the amounts.
20:36So all the things will be where with the cybercrime and then they arrested these two individuals
20:41from the Rajasthan also.
20:43And most importantly, students must beware that these sort of frauds are occurring and
20:49they should not fall in such traps.
20:51I want to thank you, Rajesh, for getting us those details.
20:56And shifting focus to the other big story.
20:58Now for Donald Trump, this may have been the ultimate birthday gift.
21:02On the day he turned 80, the US President dramatically announced what he described as a historic peace
21:08breakthrough with Iran, declaring that the war was over and that a deal had finally been
21:15struck after months of conflict that rattled global energy markets and pushed the Middle East
21:21to the brink.
21:22In a series of triumphant posts, Donald Trump proclaimed that the Iran deal is now complete,
21:29authorized the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, announced an end to the US naval blockade
21:34and declared, ships off the world, start your engines, let the oil flow.
21:40The timing was no coincidence.
21:43Reports suggest that Tehran was uncomfortable with the agreement being unveiled on Trump's birthday
21:49and even sought to delay the announcement.
21:52But the US President moved first, presenting the breakthrough as a personal, diplomatic victory
21:58and adding it to a birthday marked by celebrations that also included a UFC event at the White House.
22:07Iran, in the meanwhile, confirmed the broad contours of the agreement but offered a different narrative.
22:14Tehran said that the war would end on all fronts, including Lebanon,
22:18that the US would end its naval blockade within 30 days and that the Strait of Hormuz would reopen
22:25under Iranian oversight.
22:27The proposed agreement includes an immediate ceasefire, the reopening of the world's most
22:33critical oil choke point, easing of sanctions on Iranian oil exports, the release of frozen
22:40Iranian assets and fresh nuclear negotiations expected to happen within the next 60 days.
22:48But behind the celebrations, major fault lines that still remain.
22:53Washington and Tehran are offering conflicting versions yet again of who controls the Strait of Hormuz.
23:01Israel, on the other hand, has publicly rejected the deal and ruled out any military pullback.
23:06Questions also remain over Lebanon, Iran's enriched uranium stockpiles and what happens
23:12if the upcoming nuclear talks collapse.
23:15Remember, Friday is when the deal is to be inked officially.
23:19So while Trump is celebrating a landmark diplomatic achievement on his 80th birthday,
23:26the bigger question remains unanswered.
23:28Is this the beginning of lasting peace in West Asia or simply a pause at the moment
23:35before the next confrontation that could arise?
23:37India Today, getting you this report.
23:51After two months of West Asia burning, where missiles lit up the skies and fears for wider
23:57regional war grew by the day, today there has been a dramatic breakthrough.
24:06A surprise announcement from U.S. President Donald Trump, claiming the war with Iran is over
24:12and declaring that a historic peace deal has finally been sealed.
24:19Iran's Supreme National Security Council has also confirmed the understanding,
24:24saying months of difficult negotiations have culminated in a memorandum to end hostilities.
24:29The formal signing is expected in Geneva, Switzerland, on Friday.
24:34The official signing of the Islamabad memorandum will take place on Friday in Switzerland.
24:44An immediate and permanent end to the war and military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon,
24:50is declared from tonight, he said.
24:52The lifting of the U.S. naval blockade against Iran also begins from tonight.
25:02The agreement could reshape the geopolitical map of the region.
25:06Trump announced reopening of Strait of Hormuz and that oil will flow again.
25:11Iran, on the other hand, says the U.S. naval blockade will be lifted within 30 days,
25:17insisting Hormuz will reopen under Iranian supervision.
25:21Prime Minister Modi welcomed the understanding and said that India hopes agreement would restore stability in the region
25:29and safeguard the global trade routes.
25:33But question remains, Israel has already signaled discomfort.
25:38Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the 14-clause U.S.-Iran truce,
25:44as Trump calls him a difficult guy.
25:47Tel Aviv says the deal does not bind Israel and has ruled out any withdrawal from captured territories,
25:55warning of strong retaliation to any future attack,
25:58raising fresh questions over the durability of the peace pact.
26:03For now, the guns may have fallen silent.
26:06But whether this becomes lasting peace or merely a pause in a long conflict
26:11is the question the world is watching closely.
26:15Bureau Report, India Today.
26:20And well, a major crackdown on children's access to social media
26:24could soon be on the cards in the United Kingdom.
26:27UK Prime Minister Kiyar Starmer,
26:29who has backed plans to ban social media use for children under the age of 16,
26:35arguing that online platforms are having a damaging impact on young people's mental health,
26:41and, of course, their well-being.
26:43Starmer acknowledged that enforcing such a ban would be challenging,
26:47but insisted that governments can no longer ignore these risks that are posed by social media.
26:52These are children, these are those below the age of 16,
26:56their young, impressionable minds,
26:57and he described many platforms as deliberately addictive,
27:02saying children are being exposed to harmful content at an early age,
27:06and argued that stronger safeguards are needed to protect minors online.
27:10The proposal comes amid global concerns over the impact of social media on children,
27:17including issues that are related to mental health,
27:20online bullying, screen addiction, and exposure to harmful content.
27:29I'm not going to stand here and pretend that there are no benefits of social media.
27:32That wouldn't be straight or honest.
27:34But having looked at the evidence, having gone through the consultation,
27:37having looked at what happened in other countries,
27:40having listened to parents, grieving parents,
27:44listened hard, and you can listen in two ways.
27:47You can listen in the sense of you're just going through the motions,
27:50or you can listen and you can take in what people are saying to you.
27:53I'm in the second category, as always have been,
27:55and that's why I'm absolutely clear in my mind that this ban is the right outcome.
28:00And I think we're going to see parents across the country welcome it.
28:04I accept not all.
28:05There's always a debate here.
28:07Not everybody is in the same place.
28:08But I do genuinely believe the vast majority of parents
28:12will welcome the clear and decisive step that we've taken today.
28:17Now remember, Keir Starmer has also said that he will discuss this issue
28:21with other world leaders at the G7 Summit.
28:23But the big question, should children be allowed on social media at all?
28:28Now that's the question governments across the world are increasingly grappling with.
28:33From anxiety and addiction to cyberbullying and harmful content.
28:38The dangers of social media for children are under the global spotlight,
28:42where governments are now responding with tougher actions,
28:45restrictions, age verification rules,
28:48and even outright bans, like you saw the one in UK.
28:53Now, here's a look at how different countries are moving
28:56to regulate children's access to social media.
28:59The latest to join, like you saw, is none other than the United Kingdom,
29:03where Prime Minister Keir Starmer is backing a complete ban,
29:07a full ban on social media for children who are under the age of 16.
29:12Australia has already enforced a nationwide ban
29:16for those who are under the age of 16.
29:21France, on the other hand, has barred social media use
29:24for children who are under the age of 15
29:26and without parental approval.
29:29So if there is parental approval, then they could be allowed.
29:32Malaysia has, on the other hand, moved towards government-backed age verification.
29:38Italy has strengthened parental consent rules,
29:42but this is for those who are under the age of 14.
29:45So 14 is the limit that they have set.
29:47Norway is considering raising its digital age of consent to 15 now.
29:52And in the United States as well.
29:55States such as Virginia, that has already introduced stricter compliance requirements
30:00for platforms that are serving minors,
30:03reflecting increasing concerns over online safety
30:06and the impact of social media on young users.
30:11Well, a landmark day for aviation in North India.
30:15Commercial flight operations that have officially begun
30:18at the Noida International Airport in Chevar
30:21with the inaugural flight carrying farmers
30:23who gave land for the ambitious project.
30:26Doubted as a major economic and connectivity boost
30:29for Uttar Pradesh and the Delhi NCR region,
30:32the airport is expected to transform travel,

31:06curiosity and joy.
31:10We don't come every day.
31:12And for me, it's a dream come true to be on the inaugural flight
31:15that landed into Noida.
31:18The occasion carried special significance
31:21as the inaugural flight carried farmers who gave their lands
31:24for the country's newest aviation hub.

31:54attract investments and enhance global connectivity,
31:58while also strengthening the Uttar Pradesh's presence

32:26So, you can enter your P&R booking reference and from there, your boarding pass will come.
32:30These are the bays where you can actually put in your luggage.
32:33You can just show your ticket, scan your ticket from here,
32:37drop in the luggage out here and it's all done.
32:40Developed in line with the vision of CM Yogi Adityanath,
32:43the airport is expected to unlock the state's landlocked economic potential
32:47by connecting key sectors such as agriculture, micro, small and medium enterprises,
32:54tourism and industries directly to global markets.
33:22The first phase of the project has been completed with the capacity to handle
33:261.2 crore passengers every year and includes a runway,
33:32an integrated terminal and an air traffic control tower.
34:07Spread over about 1,334 hectares and planned in four phases,
34:13the airport is projected to steadily expand its passenger handling capacity over the coming years.
34:19The NOIDA International Airport will go a long way in connecting rural communities
34:24and bringing air travel closer to ordinary citizens of Delhi, NCR and beyond.
34:31With Amit Bharadwaj in NOIDA, Bureau Report, India Today.
34:40And there you saw the first flight that had taken off and what an excitement it was,
34:45especially for those living in and around this region,
34:48to how this will now help all of them stay connected and most importantly, with more convenience.
34:55Let's now shift our focus.
34:57Now, did you know that every year, millions of Indians who are affected by dengue,
35:02a tiny mosquito, but one that can have devastating consequences for an entire family.
35:10Dengue is not just another fever, so it should not be taken lightly
35:14because it is a serious disease that can cause high fever, severe body pain,
35:20a dangerous drop in platelet count, hospitalization and in some cases even becoming life-threatening.
35:28Most importantly, those who are in the vulnerable category,
35:32now when it comes to children, senior citizens, those who have weakened immunity,
35:37they are especially vulnerable.
35:40What makes dengue particularly concerning is that the mosquito responsible for spreading it
35:47does not breed in distant forests or remote areas.
35:51It thrives right around our homes, in our coolers, flowerpots, balconies and any other place
36:01where clean water is allowed to stagnate, which means that the fight against dengue
36:07begins at our very homes.
36:11But this is not a battle that can be won by one individual
36:15because this is a battle that needs collective effort.
36:19Not of one family or one institution alone, but everyone needs to come together.
36:24To defeat dengue, the entire nation should stand against it.
36:30Now with this resolve, today on World Dengue Day,
36:34All Out and India Today have launched a nationwide public awareness movement
36:39called Saath Leringe Dengi Se.
36:42Through this campaign, we will bring credible information,
36:47expert advice and simple preventative measures
36:51to households across the country to how we can battle dengue together.
36:56Remember, a few simple steps that can go a long way in protecting your family.
37:02So do not allow water to collect in or around your home.
37:07Change the water in coolers, in flowerpots and do that on a regular basis.
37:12Take extra care when it comes to protecting children and senior citizens from mosquito bites.
37:19Use mosquito repellents and vaporizers to regularly help sanitize your home
37:25and keep it protected when it comes to those who are in the vulnerable category in your home.
37:31Because when every home stays alert, dengue loses its chance to spread further.
37:37Join All Out and India Today in this collective fight.
37:42Saath ladenge, dengue se.
