00:07Alright everyone, we got a nice and icy review for you guys today.
00:12With a few Transformers references, which is pretty normal for this series.
00:18I hope you guys are ready, so let's get into it.
00:21We cut right into Coop training again, and thanks to his modifications, they can't stop speeding ahead.
00:29So they end up crashing into an ice planet, and are confronted by another mech.
00:34They try to explain that they aren't here to invade, but he attacks them anyway, and puts up a decent
00:40fight.
00:41But Coop eventually defeats him, but upon doing so, realizes that some yeti-looking aliens are attacking him as well.
00:49Coop explains that they didn't mean to completely destroy their guardians,
00:53So the chieftain of the aliens, Ator, explains that the robotic alien race from the neighboring planet, the Cerillians, ravaged
01:03their own planet, using up all of its ice to cool their systems, and have now set their sights on
01:10this ice planet.
01:11And the guardian that they destroyed was a defector from their race, that was protecting the planet.
01:18Coop does agree to help them, since they got them into this mess.
01:22And as they are talking, the Cerillians appear, and start to invade, putting down markers to cut a cube out
01:29of the ice, with the area covering the yeti village.
01:41Coop starts to get into Magus, but the handle's iced over, and his key broke in the lock.
01:47So he just punches his window out, getting Magus out of the way of the heat beam.
01:52Then Coop, being the idiot that he is, decides to blindly fire at the army, saying his instincts will guide
01:59him.
01:59But he just ends up destroying a part of the yeti village, and agrees in clearing off the windows.
02:06While he is doing so, he runs into some difficulties, since the Cerillians see him as a new guardian, and
02:13attack him.
02:14So he has to scrape off the ice, and drive at the same time.
02:18With the yetis having second thoughts, if he is their savior.
02:23Hail our new guardian! We are saved!
02:30We are doomed.
02:32Coop finally is almost done shaving off all the ice, when he accidentally hits a button that fired a beam
02:39at a mountain, causing an avalanche, with the leader of the Cerillians just laughing about how much damage Coop is
02:46doing.
02:46And we learn that the alien's race's name, which is the Cryoc.
02:52After Coop gets out of the snow, he immediately tries to run over to the marker that will finish the
02:57ice cube carving, but is blocked by tank mechs and their leader.
03:02With Coop having one of his famous speeches again.
03:05Listen up you dorky sounding, ice-grubbing, robotic chump!
03:10You dinged my chrome, made me break my window, and snapped my favorite key!
03:18Oh yeah, you also tried to cut up the planet of the space Bigfoots.
03:22You wanna eat some ice?
03:24Glad to oblige!
03:27I also have to add that the tank mechs look really similar to the G1 Shockwave, which I am guessing
03:35they were model off of, since they have done a few Transformer references in the series so far.
03:42Coop then just starts to beat up and tear apart the grunt mechs and plays around with them as usual.
03:49With him then going one-on-one with the leader, having some trouble, but does eventually beat him.
03:56Coop takes part of the marker, but they were still able to begin to extract a part of the planet.
04:02Seeing that the beam is still following him because he has the marker, he shoots it to the Cerulean planet,
04:08which ends up blowing up the entire planet.
04:12Holy shit!
04:18Holy shit!
04:20With the debris from the planet destroying the Cerulean ship, and with all the celestial devastation going on, it warmed
04:28up the Cryox planet.
04:29With their job done, they blast off, leaving the planet, and ending the episode.
04:35With the ending credits scene being the Cryox adapting to their new world, shaving off most of their hair,
04:42and I gotta say, they don't look too bad.
04:46Alright, so going over the new voices, the Guardian was played by Dorian Harewood, who we have seen before as
04:53Ender, so good on him because I didn't recognize his voice.
04:57And getting on to the character, I don't know why he would just assume a robot that looks nothing like
05:05his kind is an enemy.
05:06The coloring is different, it has a car for a head, and it has people piloting it from the inside.
05:14They were obviously not his species, so he ended up dying for no good reason.
05:19My best guess is that he had so much PTSD from guarding them this whole time, he just assumed anything
05:28robotic was an enemy.
05:30He even had a cool backstory, but, alas, we saw how his story sadly ended at the hands of Coop.
05:39Next is Jeff Glenn Bennett, who played Dralag, the Cerulean leader.
05:44We have also seen him before because he played Zarek.
05:47And with his character, I can get into the Ceruleans as a species, because they literally destroyed their planet by
05:55harvesting all of its resources, and now they cannot cool their systems down anymore.
06:01Which I am guessing means they can't do any work that would push them to the peak of their abilities,
06:07or they might overheat and die.
06:09This could also be the reason there are not a lot of them left, since we really only see them
06:15have one ship, so not harvesting the planet could also be the reason a majority of them are dead.
06:22The Guardian may have damned his people to extinction by doing what he did, and probably thought that they deserved
06:29it, not wanting the same fate to happen again, and on top of that, having another species in the Cryox
06:37going extinct as well.
06:38And they could have had other options, like finding comets to harvest for ice, or trying to find an uninhabited
06:45ice planet, but they just went to the closest one, which was a moon of theirs.
06:50Not caring about the native species at all.
06:53So overall, they probably do deserve to go extinct, unfortunately.
06:58Now forgive me if I mess this up.
07:01Next is Keith Sazara-Bajka, who voices Ator.
07:08He has also voiced Trigon from Teen Titans, Mr. Freeze from Young Justice, and Vizargo from Star Wars Rebels.
07:17Ator seemed to be a pretty reasonable guy letting Magus help after destroying their Guardian, but we definitely saw that
07:25at some points he thought they were doomed.
07:28And by the end of the episode, he seemed to not adapt to their new environment, unlike most of his
07:35people.
07:35I'm just glad that they were able to adapt by shaving off most of their hair, because I can't imagine
07:41evolving on an ice planet, and then having to quickly adapt to a hot planet is a pleasant thing.
07:48Then moving on to our crew, I am glad that they are still training, even though Coop is still trying
07:55to get out of it, which ends up stranding them on an ice planet this episode.
08:01With him constantly thinking he has a handle on things.
08:04With Jamie and Kiva having to constantly nag him to do things the right way, like clearing off his front
08:12windshield of all the ice.
08:14But other than that, there isn't much to talk about character-wise this episode.
