We get a classic time travel story trope this episode with a few references to other Sci-Fi franchises. With Episode mainly focussing on Kiva and we get to see what Gorrath and the rest of the Glorft would look like if they were humans.
00:00Hello everyone, we'll be going on a time travel trope storyline today, and giving Gorath and the rest of the glorfed human sonas.
00:08I hope you guys are ready, so let's get into it.
00:12We start with Gorath yelling at the commander yet again about how many times they have failed.
00:18But the commander tells him this time they can take a more subtle approach to things.
00:23As we see Gorath put on an armband that gives him a human sona which makes him look like a biker.
00:30So now with this tech, they set out to enact their plans yet again.
00:35Coop and the gang are at the stadium to go to a music concert, with Coop just causing more and more damage to people's cars.
00:53You can't keep getting away with it!
00:56My god man, I can't imagine the insurance prices in this area.
01:01Once they get in, we get another appearance of Tiny and Goat, which was a nice thing to see.
01:06With Goat getting tossed around by everyone once the music starts.
01:11With Jamie and Kiva leaving to go get food for Coop and to get a break from all the music and crowds.
01:17But we then finally see the Glorft with one of their bands malfunctioning because a soda spilled on it, which alerts them both of the Glorft presence.
01:27At first, it looked like they were after Kiva, but we then see that they are after a regular woman.
01:33And I have to point out that the gun Gorath uses has to be a Predator reference, with the three-dotted sight marker.
01:42They stop Gorath from hurting her, but she runs off with both parties going to search for her.
01:48Kiva eventually finds her, wondering why they are after her, but Gorath shows up and spells it out for us.
01:55They were able to trace Kiva's ancestors back to this woman, I'm guessing through some kind of DNA shenanigans.
02:03And they want to kill her, so Kiva is never born, and that would mean Magus was never stolen by her, bringing Gorath back to his original timeline.
02:12Kiva fights him while Jamie goes to protect the girl, and I just love this line delivery by Gorath while they are fighting.
02:20So this is how you conquer worlds now, Gorath?
02:23Attacking an innocent, unarmed girl?
02:27Yes.
02:28The girl runs into Jamie, with them going up on the couple's cam, alerting everyone to where they are.
02:36Yo, man, that Jamie?
02:38What?
02:39Nah, that guy's with a girl.
02:41My nigga, you just got roasted!
02:44Coop is finally alerted to Gorath when his true form is revealed on the big screen in the stadium.
02:50The Glorft manage to corner them, but Coop comes in with the save and gives his usual speech.
02:57All right, you octopus-faced losers!
03:01You crash my concert, stop me from getting fake cheese nachos, and try wiping out this poor chick who ain't done nothing to you!
03:09Just so you can make Kiva not be born, and me not get my robot.
03:15Yeah.
03:16The Glorft call in their mechs, and we get a mech battle where Coop, again, causes so much damage to everyone's cars.
03:24He can't keep getting away with it!
03:34And Coop and Gorath have an honestly pretty good fight.
03:38And after he beats him, he beats all the other mechs winning the fight, like always.
03:44And I just have to comment on how I really like the headbanging animation for Coop, it just looks great.
03:50Afterwards, Kiva talks to the girl and asks if she wants to talk more, but she just says she wants to go back to Brooklyn and stay away from all this craziness.
04:00With the gang just hanging out at the end of the episode.
04:03And the credits showing Gorath beating up Coop, with it being revealed that it's just the commander who is taking on the image of Coop, with Gorath taking great pleasure in beating him.
04:15So first, we gotta go over Kiva's ancestor, who is named Allie, because I don't think they ever say it in the episode.
04:23And she is played by Julie Nathanson.
04:26I could imagine Allie had one of the most bizarre days of her life.
04:31Being hunted down by aliens from the future who are disguised as humans, trying to kill you to erase your future descendant from the timeline.
04:39And getting saved by the future descendant with the help of her friends that are from this time.
04:46And then finally going through an awesome mech fight to end the night.
04:51I completely understand why she said she wants nothing to do with them, because most people do not want to deal with what the gang goes through all the time.
05:00Gorath and the glorfed commander were good as usual with their comedic bits.
05:06And they thought it was cool to see how they would look as humans with making their tentacles into mustaches.
05:12And their plan in general was not a bad one, all in all, because they actually would have succeeded if the crew did not go to the concert.
05:22Maybe Goat and Tiny might have helped, but that's a maybe, because they may not even know it was going on.
05:29And it's always cool to see Tiny again and Goat as usual.
05:33And you know, I am trying to remember, but I'm surprised they did not put in any Terminator references in this episode,
05:40because this is the episode to do it, since the plot is similar to the first movie.
05:45Moving on to our guys, because this is definitely a Kiva-focused episode, showing off her fighting skills as usual,
05:53and her experiencing more of the past Earth's culture.
05:57I am sure meeting your ancestor was nice as well, and you can kinda see the family resemblance with them both having red hair.
06:05Jamie was a bit useful this episode, kind of protecting Allie, even though he was still a coward for some parts.
06:13And it would have been wild if he did turn out to be her ancestor as well.
06:18And Coop was just being his usual self for the episode.
06:21He didn't really know what was going on for half of it, but he locked in, as he always does,
06:28and beats the Glorift back while causing a lot of property damage.
06:32This was a good episode overall, with some cool ideas thrown in there.
