02:29organization, do they feel like he's worth more than that? And if they do,
02:36then they got to pay them. If they don't, then they're going to try to penny pinch and that's

02:45to maybe because like the only real other hold in that I have to compare with the Patriots is
02:49Matthew Judon, but Gonzo, he was in individuals, he was in group stuff. He did conditioning with
02:55the team. That's nothing. It is nothing. He didn't do any of the team activities like the 11

03:10sideline. So Greg, to your point, are they gonna, are they potentially taking trade offers or are they

03:27the, and then the rarity of that. And I'd like, why would you not pay the guy? Somebody's going to
03:32give him 105 mil, whatever the number is, $107 million. And what, what, what portion of it is
03:38guaranteed in your mind? No, no, no, no, no. So 107 is no, Trent McDuffie got 142, but a hundred
03:45million guaranteed. A hundred million guaranteed. So 107 million of it, you have to guarantee, but then
03:50again, you're also going to have to do, you just, you're going to have to pay AJ Brown, whatever that
03:54is that escalates. Uh, and you're going to have to give Shimes guy a huge deal, pay him $60 million
04:01in a, in a year or two. It's not the 60 million they're worried about. It's the 230 million.
04:07They're going to have to guarantee Drake may, because if you start to look at what those
04:11quarterback deals look like, we just saw it last year with Josh Allen. I think he got 250 million
04:17in guaranteed money. So you're looking at Drake may is going to be somewhere in that world.
04:23They're going to want 60 million a year and, and five years of it guaranteed or four year
04:28or whatever, whatever the number is. And the money for AJ Brown for the Patriots is not that
04:32bad. Like it's cash wise. Yeah. It is not a lot. Yeah. And that, that'll be the biggest
04:37thing next year. The same way it is this year. And I'm willing to bet you in, cause listening
04:42to Gonzalez, if they were to say, okay, we're going to make you the highest paid corner right
04:47now. I don't think even waits for Witherspoon. I think he says, all right, if you're giving
04:51me 105 million guaranteed and my contracts, let's call it one 50 over, I believe McDuffie
04:58got what four years or five years. Did McDuffie yet? I think it was four, four years. I have
05:02it in front. I think Gonzalez goes, all right, where do I sign? Maybe is it, is it just like
05:07waiting until the very last day to pay the rent? Like maybe they just, uh, they want to
05:11wait until here's my feeling with it. I want to write the check right now. They want to write
05:15that, but also weren't they seemingly very proactive with maybe overpaying a little bit
05:20in draft capital for AJ Brown? Like we heard that recently that they started talking with
05:25AJ Brown back during the combine. And what did we hear since that? There weren't really
05:30other teams in the mix because the price of the draft picks that they were giving up was
05:35going to be so high. Other teams were like, we're not going to compete with that. Why don't
05:39you do that with Christian Gonzalez when it's just money? Like you don't have to give up
05:44anything in terms of your team building. It's just money. Yeah. And doesn't it make
05:48point? Doesn't this make it look like they don't believe he's worth that? He is worth
05:54it. But doesn't it make it look like they don't believe it is? Cause if he is, and they
05:58said, I think it was LA Wolf who said he's one of the best corners or if not the best
06:02corner in the league. Do you think he's a top three corner in the league? I do. Yeah.
06:06Then why are you, if you're not paying somebody like that, then doesn't that show you
06:11that they don't believe that? I think that they're probably trying, both sides are trying
06:15to squeeze out whatever they want from one side or the other. But don't you think what,
06:20but if you know what the number is for the top corner, you're going above that. If you
06:26don't believe that that guy is worth the, that's my point. They might not believe he's the best
06:33corner in the league and they're saying, all right, that's dumb. Cause he is. That's the
06:38point that I'm trying to make. Cause if they're saying to him, Hey, we'll guarantee
06:41you 95 million. Then you're basically telling him, we think you're the second best corner
06:47in the league or third or whatever, you know, certain junior guard or sauce gardener guard.
