00:00You said it a couple weeks ago on the Mets.
00:03This could be one of the worst Mets teams in the history of that franchise.
00:06I mean, I'm not going to go all the way back to the expansion year back in the day,
00:10but, I mean, Bob, I mean, where do you go if you're the Mets?
00:13Where do you go if you're Steve Cohen?
00:15Where do you go if you're Stearns with this baseball team?
00:19I mean, is there going to be a complete overhaul of that roster, you think,
00:22this coming offseason?
00:23I don't know if you can really move off of some of these guys.
00:26And what type of manager do they need to go in there
00:28if they're going to try to really turn this thing around?
00:32Yeah, I mean, you know, they went out and, you know,
00:35let Pete Alonzo go as a first baseman, brought in Jorge Alonzo.
00:40And, you know, Polonzo's already missed about twice as many games
00:43as Alonzo did his entire tenure with the Mets.
00:46He had another setback.
00:48So, you know, it's almost like doing a chemistry lab,
00:51threw a bunch of stuff together, and it hasn't worked.
00:53It's, you know, blown up in their face, really.
00:55And so, yeah, we'll see what they do in the offseason.
00:58It's not like there's a big free agent market to, you know, to go get them.
01:02I think it's going to take some time.
01:04And, you know, I think they know it's not Mendoza's fault.
01:08They're not turning around and giving a contract extension either.
01:10So, you know, they could shake that up.
01:14I don't think it would be Alex Cora, though.
01:15I really don't.
01:16I think if Cora goes anywhere, you know, it's back in Philadelphia.
01:20You know, not back in Philadelphia, but back with Dave Dabrowski.
01:24He loves Cora.
01:26So, yeah, the Mets are a mess, and it's going to take some time.
01:28So, yeah, it's going to be good.
