00:00Lift it or leave it, Bill.
00:03Indiana, over the next three to five years,
00:06will have a better record and more success than USC.
00:10Lift it or leave it?
00:11Lift it, because I think Cignetti, it's not going away.
00:15You look at their roster this year.
00:17Why wouldn't they be good again?
00:19Josh Hoover is the key to that,
00:21but he'll have to turn the ball over less,
00:24but their roster's pretty good.
00:25And I'm going to assume that Kurt Cignetti coaches
00:28for the next five years, and they're not,
00:31I don't think you can possibly be the national title good
00:33or as good as they were last year,
00:35but I just think they're going to be in the hunt
00:37for playoff berths and for Big Ten championships
00:40as long as Cignetti's there.
00:42I really believe in the power of this coach.
00:44So over the next five years, I will say that,
00:47so what's that, 2030, around then,
00:51that when we look back at it,
00:53we'll say Indiana had a better record
00:54the last five years than USC.
00:56So I'm going to, I guess I'm lifting
00:58that Indiana will be better.
01:00I agree with you, and I've gotten in
01:02this heated discussion with my co-host,
01:06Jeff Dunoff, on Morning Juice,
01:09because he was like, USC has better,
01:11they recruit better.
01:12Look at the recruiting class to go,
01:13here's the good news flash.
01:14They had better players the last two years at USC.
01:18And Kurt Cignetti's a better coach.
01:20Like, he can find guys and they develop them.
01:22So if he won that much and what,
01:25they lost one game in the last two years,
01:27I'm not saying they're going to go on runs like that.
01:30But I am saying, like, to your point, Bill,
01:33like, I would say nine and three is kind of the floor
01:36for Indiana unless they have some sort of massive injury
01:38or lose their quarterback.
01:4027 and two the last two years,
01:42their only loss were to Notre Dame and Ohio State.
01:45Like, I mean, and you and Tito getting in an argument
01:50with that's probably the shocker of all shockers
01:52I've heard this morning, right?
01:53But no, I'm going to go with Indiana over USC for sure.
01:56I'm lifting it.
01:57Just, I go, the numbers are the numbers at this point.
01:59Like, they're playing the same schedules, basically.
02:02They're playing the Big Ten.
02:03Indiana went on a run.
02:04And I don't know that Hoover will be as good as Mendoza,
02:06but I mean, outside of having explosive offenses,
02:10I don't know that Lincoln Raleigh has developed a football team.
02:12This will be a huge year for him with that.
