00:00Crimson Desert developer Pearl Abyss is officially in pre-production on Docky V, its Pokemon-esque
00:04monster capture first announced in 2019.
00:07That was obviously a long time ago, but Pearl Abyss is hoping to redefine itself as a developer
00:11with lean release cycles after Crimson Desert took seven bloated years by maintaining a
00:16new title release cycle of every two to three years.
00:19Pearl Abyss says,
00:20We will prioritize resources on Docky V to accelerate development.
00:24In addition, Docky V is currently in the pre-production stage, and we will share updates as development
00:29progresses.
00:29While there's still no release date for Docky V, meaning we could be waiting years before
00:33we get to play the MMO, it's clear Crimson Desert has taught the developer that announcing
00:37games too early is not ideal.
00:39Still, good things come to those who wait, right?
