Transcript
00:00Marvel's Wolverine has already shifted a huge number of copies mere days since its launch,
00:06beating out Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2 in lifetime sales on PS5.
00:11Head of Market Analysis Reese Elliott explains in Alinea Analytics' latest Substack newsletter
00:17that the PS5-exclusive Wolverine has quickly amassed a $130 million fortune,
00:23while Death Stranding 2 falls just short of that with $129 million in total PS5 sales,
00:29though it's been out on the platform for over a year now.
00:32Similarly, Wolverine has already sold a heavy heap of 1.9 million copies on PS5,
00:38while Death Stranding 2 lags with 1.8 million total sales.
00:42The underwhelming Wolverine has an overall 77 Metacritic score,
00:46with over 4,800 user reviews giving it the slightly harsher 7.0 rating,
00:52while Death Stranding 2 boasts an 89 Metacritic score and 8.7 user score.
00:56While the reviews may not be favourable, the situation is that Wolverine is now

01:07Elliott says.
01:08It's already catching up to Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resync,
01:10which has made $133 million on PS5 since July,
01:14and Crimson Desert, which racked up $160 million in PS5 revenue since March,
01:19so it's selling at a faster rate than any of those games, too.
01:23So, let's see.
