00:06Listen, it's clear that modern football in the NFL is quarterback-driven.
00:12That is no secret.
00:14You can look at analytics.
00:16Right now, quarterback success is a higher predictor of winning and losing than turnover
00:23ratio, which it's been for 20-plus years.
00:26That's changed.
00:27So there's no doubt Caleb played a large component into my decision.
00:33He is a phenomenal talent that had, as many quarterbacks do, an up-and-down rookie year.
00:43Where I see my role is as a supporter of him, this offense will be calibrated with him in
00:51mind.
00:52We're going to build this thing.
00:53This is not simply a dropping of a previous playbook down on the table and starting there.
00:58Nope.
00:58We're ripping this thing down to the studs, and we're going to build it up with him first
01:02and foremost, and then with the pieces around him next.
01:06I really look forward to challenging him and pushing him, as I said before, to continue
01:12to grow and develop.
01:13Yeah, I think offensive line is certainly an area that we need to get better play from
01:18going forward, something that Ryan and I have already talked about.
01:22We will develop a plan of attack for how to get that done, but I'm looking forward to
01:29getting an excellent offensive line coach into the building to help develop the young
01:32talent that we already have on the roster, and we will certainly talk about acquiring
01:38talent to bolster that unit as well.
