Cairo Santos describes the circumstances surrounding his game-winning 51-yard field goal at Green Bay, after he had a last-second one blocked by the Packers earlier this season.

00:05Yeah, I mean, I don't think I could have write a cooler script, you know, for myself.
00:12Obviously, that kick at home against Green Bay bothered us, you know, just how we finished
00:18that game, you know.
00:20I feel like they got us on a play that you can argue whatever it was.
00:24Because we didn't like it, how it was done to us, and it was a taste that was in my
00:30mouth
00:31for weeks leading up to this, and, you know, I got on my knees, my wife and my mom this
00:36week, and I prayed to have a moment to kick a game-winning field goal.
00:41I specifically prayed for that, and I don't want to push, you know, religion into anybody,
00:45but, you know, it's glory to God in my perspective to have that happen in everything that I've
00:52gone through the last, the weeks following up to that.
00:55I think it gave me strength, you know, everything to be ready for a moment like this.
01:01So I was super confident, so happy that DJ was able to get that catch and kind of, you
01:08know, bounce back from the play that I'm sure he was upset about.
01:12The wind was flying better the other direction.
01:15McManus and I were hitting longer field goals that way, coming up short, you know, towards
01:19that tunnel, but once I saw myself making, I think, a 53 that way in warm-ups, I knew I
01:28had that and a few more in a situation where the adrenaline was going to take over like
01:32it does on a game-winning.
01:34So we just, yeah, once we got into a 51, I just worried about putting the ball through.
