00:00Let's have at it.
00:03Tyler Milner, we'll start with your ass.
00:05I'm always ready.
00:07It's quite the ass.
00:09The Texans, they are away from being a true Super Bowl contender, real or fake?
00:17As much as it pains me, I got to say fake.
00:19I want that to be true, but I've said it a million times just with my fandom
00:24and watching this organization since 2002 and failing to see them reach,
00:29even to play in an AFC title game yet.
00:32It's hard for me to jump to that arena, so I'm going to say fake here.
00:37All right.
00:39Wow.
00:40Tyler says fake.
00:41Clint, real or fake?
00:42The Houston Texans are one move away from being a true Super Bowl contender, real or fake?
00:49Yeah, I think it's real.
00:49Look, I think a lot of folks right now would argue that they're Super Bowl contenders
00:54as they are with the additions that they've already made.
00:57If you add one move, I'm going to assume it's going to be a significant enough move
01:01to move the Super Bowl needle, so I would say real.
01:05The Texans are one move away from being a true Super Bowl contender.
01:09If that move were just enough to shake national media up, national NFL media up enough to be like,
01:20whoa, look out, what are the Texans doing here?
01:21Not even like, boy, this is breaking news.
01:23It would be, obviously, but not that this is like blockbuster trades like we saw with A.J. Brown.
01:32Yeah, if that noise right there was associated with it.
01:35Man, I thought you had something.
01:36I did too at first.
01:37That's a fake one, man.
01:38Train your ears.
01:41I think they're one significant move away from absolutely being a Super Bowl contender
01:48on everybody's radar.
01:50I think a percentage of folks right now would couch him as a Super Bowl contender,
01:54given how good their defense is.
01:56Side note, Josh Hader's middle name is Ronald, so that's a fun one.
02:00Joshua Ronald Hader.
02:02Boy, they tried to mess up that last name, didn't they?
02:04Yeah, they did.
02:04I will also throw into this discussion that all the talking heads around the national
02:08media were convinced that the Texans were a very true AFC Super Bowl contender last season.
02:14Yeah, they were.
02:16They were.
02:17I think they thought Joe Mixon was going to be alive.
02:19But I think they weren't football alive.
02:22Well, I think most, to your point, I think, you know, it is hard, and I don't, it is hard
02:32for a first-time play caller, first year in a system, cold turkey, just installing an
02:42entire new offense for that thing to hit on, you know, hit on good enough, hit on cylinders
02:47well enough to win at that level.
02:49So, even though Clint Kubiak went in there and did it, he wasn't a first-time play caller,
02:52but he did go in there and make some noise in Seattle.
02:56Yeah, text line coming in, guys, yeah, I'm not, I'm not, I'm not, Claire, I'm not talking
03:00about quarterbacks, all right?
03:01We're not, we're not, if they added Josh Allen, yeah, no, I'm not talking about that, okay?
03:07Not that.
03:08It's similar, the thought was off the ramps.
03:10I think it is, I think it's, it's real.
03:13I disagree with Tyler.
03:14I think it's real, if, if this team added a top 20 weapon, like a top 20 weapon to go
03:23along with Nico and David Montgomery, I really don't care what position it plays, if it's
03:29a receiver, if it, it's a, like, if they added a top 20 skilled player to their, to their
03:41team, I, I think this is a flat, I think that's what they're missing.
03:45I think they're missing a, another dominant presence on their offense that, that makes
03:52people have to think, if they, if they did what New England did yesterday, if they added
03:59AJ Brown, if they, like that, that level, a top 20 level player, we talked about McBride
04:05earlier, the tight end from the Cardinals, if they added somebody like they, that would
04:09completely change the way that this team looks or feels.
04:13And so I, I, I definitely think it is, it is real.
04:16All right.
04:17Real or fake Clint, you can see Ariante Ursary as a future pro bowler, the left tackle for
04:25the Texans, real or fake?
04:26Oh, that's real as they come.
04:28Yeah.
04:29Yeah.
04:29I mean, you're, you're talking about a guy that, um, replaced Laramie Tunsil last year
04:34in Houston and nobody ever talked about him replacing Laramie Tunsil last year in Houston
04:39beyond when he was drafted.
04:41Right.
04:41Um, we're talking about a guy that came in and immediately, um, ousted a, a, a, a tackle
04:47that was a top 10 pick, I believe.
04:50And, and that, that was, was, you know, paid, what was it?
04:56$12 million a year to come in here and be that, that tackle.
04:58So, and then he goes on to play with, not only does he replace and not only does he oust
05:03one, one veteran tackle, but he, he goes out and plays well.
05:07I think there's a, there is a physicality to his game that I think is going to be a
05:11is going to, is going to, well, what they want to do offensively here.
05:14So, yeah.
05:15Um, yeah, I, I think he's the, I think there's a, there's a real chance, um, that he's got
05:21several future Pro Bowls in his, in his, uh, in his bag.
05:25Yeah.
05:25I would say real, um, but based off what we, what we saw his first year now, understanding
05:31it, it is a hard, it, it can be a hard thing to break through.
05:36It may be a while for people start to, to notice you and, and the Texans have to play
05:42well and win.
05:43Uh, but judging off of year one, you could see him getting better and better as the season
05:50moved on.
05:51And I could see Ursary being a potential Pro Bowler one year.
05:55Again, as we said, we know it's a prop popularity con contest at times.
05:59I think I'm pretty certain there was that year that I think it was last year.
06:05Wasn't it last year that, um, that Daniel Hunter had 15 sacks and did not make the Pro
06:10Bowl initially.
06:12Sounds.
06:14So it can get, it can get a little dicey here.
06:18This isn't a quarterback situation.
06:20So, but I, but I think he is absolutely played to that level.
06:23I think he gives himself a chance there.
06:26All right.
06:26Uh, Tyler real or fake?
06:29The Knicks win the uniform battle versus the Spurs in the, uh, in the NBA finals.
06:35Real or fake?
06:36They weren't coming to me first.
06:38I do know style best on this show.
06:40Um, I'm going to go, you know what?
06:43They're, they're overall schemes and their regular uniforms.
06:46I'm going to say real.
06:46The Knicks do win this battle against the Spurs, but if you start involving them.
06:5190s logo for the Spurs, that is better than any of them.
06:55That's a trick question.
06:56Yeah.
06:56When they add the colors.
06:57When they add the colors.
06:58Yeah.
06:59Yeah.
07:00That color scheme is undefeated.
07:01But other than that, the Knicks got it.
07:03Yeah.
07:03I think it is.
07:04I like the Knicks.
07:05I want, especially when they don't get, when they, some, some teams get a little too creative.
07:11They got it, they got a couple of them where it's a little too much, but the Knicks, when
07:14they have their straight original jerseys that they wear, I like, I like the Knicks a
07:21little bit better than that.
07:24It's just Raider, that Raiders knockoff that the Spurs are doing when they do add the multitude
07:29of colors that, that, that, that, that changes things.
07:32But I would go, I'm, I'm with the Knicks real or fake Clint, the Knicks win the uniform.
07:37It's fake as hell.
07:39It's fake as hell.
07:40I mean, if we're being completely honest, they both leave a lot to be desired.
07:43Really?
07:44I like, I see, I like.
07:45You just talking about the blue and orange New York written across the chest?
07:47I like what you, I told you, I'm a, I'm a sucker for.
07:51Classics.
07:52Classic.
07:53Like, I don't, I don't.
07:54I like Alabama.
07:55I like.
07:55That's not even, that's not even a good classic.
07:58Absolutely it is.
07:59I don't, I don't think it is.
08:01I think the Spurs using the actual Spur as the U in Spurs on their chest takes the cake
08:07for me.
08:08That is a cool aspect of their logo.
08:09I think, I think, and then you tie that into Texas, you tie it into San Antonio.
08:13To Tyler's point, you start mixing them 90s, you start mixing them 90s colors or whatever
08:19color, those colorful great Spurs unis, then it's, it's a no brainer.
08:24So no, I think it's fake.
08:26Their regular ones are just so boring.
08:28They're black and white.
08:29Yeah, they're, yeah.
08:30I feel like you're watching a 1950 game or something every time you turn them off.
08:33And I like black and white a lot more than I like blue and orange.
08:37There's a classic, there's a classic, I like the classic look of them.
08:40I like San Antonio a lot more than I like New York.
08:43Okay, well this wasn't about.
08:44About the Florida game.
08:45I'm just giving you reasons.
08:46I mean, I like colors.
08:47I like cities.
08:48I like the part of the country.
08:50I like the weather.
08:52I like, you know, there's just a lot to like about it.
08:54I like the fact that they drop a spur in there for the U.
08:56I think it's creative.
08:57You can start moving off into the weather.
09:00You like them big women down in San Antonio?
09:02I mean, I.
09:03Hey, them women are coming out now.
09:06They've come out.
09:07They've come out.
09:07Hang on, hang on now.
09:08No, no, no.
09:09I'm just saying, have you seen these?
09:11They're bringing out San Antonio's finest.
09:13Oh, yeah.
09:14Charles.
09:14No doubt.
09:16They had a crew of them lined up.
09:18Like, shut up, Charles.
09:20Oh, they were saying that?
09:21Yeah, they weren't.
09:21They weren't the women that Charles would describe it.
09:26That was San Antonio's finest.
09:28Charles was just describing.
09:29I spent a lot of time in the Hill Country, Chief,
09:31but Charles was just describing them ones that he attracts,
09:33which there ain't nothing wrong with.
09:34There ain't nothing wrong with none of them.
09:36Oh, more than a lot.
09:37Yeah, that's right.
09:38All right, real quick.
09:39Real or fake, Clint?
09:41Russell Wilson will get into the NFL or into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
09:46Real or fake?
09:48Oh, man.
09:50I mean, he won a Super Bowl.
09:51He's a 10-time Pro Bowler.
09:53Yeah, yeah.
09:54I mean, I don't know how he doesn't.
09:56Especially if they're going to let Eli, if they're going to let him.
09:59Yeah, I just don't know.
10:00I don't know how he doesn't.
10:01I mean, I think, is he first ballot?
10:04Probably not.
10:05Yeah.
10:06You real or fake?
10:07You think he gets in?
10:08I think he gets in.
10:09The first ballot thing, I have no idea.
10:12The bill of a debacle, so.
10:14Well, he's not.
10:15Well, I don't think he was going to be first.
10:17But, I mean, what he's done since the Denver, Pittsburgh Giants.
10:25I can't remember.
10:25I've lost track of all he ran into.
10:28You nailed it.
10:29What he's done in that time.
10:31By the way, also, if you go look a little closer, those years in Denver weren't as bad
10:36from a numbers perspective as some people think in their minds.
10:39Go big blue.
10:39Except for the year that he had Nathaniel.
10:42But the year after Sean Payton tried to just take his manhood weekly on the field in front
10:49of everybody, he had like 25 touchdowns and like six interceptions or something in that
10:54season.
10:56Listen, I think the TV thing potentially will help him.
11:00I think if he is somebody that is likable on television, I think that's going to help
11:06him.
11:06What's up, guys?
11:06Which shouldn't, but it will, kind of like your weather thing.
11:10And I just think some people forget, like, he carried those Seattle teams, not the ones
11:18that went to the Super Bowl.
11:20But if you remember, like, he was 10-6, 11-5.
11:24Like, they were making the playoffs every year.
11:26And this is after they were a defensive team.
11:29This is after Sherman left.
11:30This is after, you know, a lot of those guys bounced.
11:34And he was carrying teams that did not, like, bad offensive lines that weren't great.
11:39But people are like, that memory has just been shot because he's corny.
11:45So, I don't know.
11:46That he is.
11:48Unlimited diarrhea.
11:50He is.
11:52He's for the agency when he gets that goal.
11:54Oh, yeah.
11:55I can't.
