02:18I think
02:20all in the game and maybe let him think a little bit on the tiebreak, maybe I win the set,
02:25maybe, I don't know. I just tried to do my best and try to win the set.
02:32Well done, Joel. I just wanted to ask you about Jakob and what you made of the level of his
02:36performance and I guess his potential as well.
02:40Sorry, can you repeat?
02:41I just wanted to ask you what you made of Jakob's performance, why, you know, how he played so well
02:47and kind of, I guess, about his potential just beyond just this match.
02:50I mean, his serve is amazing. I mean, his serve is amazing. The way he deal with the important points
02:56is also really impressive.
03:00And, yeah, I think he controlled most of the part of the match, serving pretty well and doing the entrance
03:06with the return pretty well as well.
03:10His return, both first and second serve were pretty into the court and he put a lot of pressure on
03:16the opponent and today, yeah, he missed a very small amount of returns and I think that put me in
03:26a tough position today.
03:28And, yeah, I think it was his merit. I tried to put as much as I could on my returns,
03:36but he did well, the serving volley.
03:38He was serving very good. And I'll say he has a really good potential. I mean, he already won a
03:47master. He's doing his first semifinal.
03:52He plays good and most important, he knows how to play in important moments. He's not afraid. He's courage and
03:58wish him all the best because he's a nice and humble guy.
04:02Just wondering what type of confidence you're going to take into the grass season now and how comfortable are you
04:09on that surface?
04:12I like playing on grass. I like playing on grass. I think it's fun. But, yeah, I think it's one
04:17step at a time. I always have fun on grass.
04:20Unfortunately, it's just a small swing. But, yeah, looking forward to Reset now, finally going back home, maybe one week
04:33maximum staying there and, yeah, going to enjoy a little bit of the family and then go again for another
04:41swing.
04:43Hello, Rao. Jakub was kind of shocked by the level of the game played tonight with you. He used the
04:54word insane, I guess, and it's true that the level was insane.
04:56You experienced two other big, big matches here in Roland-Gauss this year against Novak and Kasper. Tonight, did the
05:05level of play seem very high for you also in terms of experience, filling the game?
05:12Was it close to Novak and Kasper or even higher, like maybe it was?
05:20It's different types of games. It's different types of days, different types of surface today. Today, the roof was closed.
05:27It was much slower. The ball was getting bigger.
05:33And, yeah, I mean, like I said, other day, which the mind sometimes is this different. And, yeah, the level
05:42of the game was pretty impressive.
05:44I mean, today, I think the most different thing was the type of his game is, like I said, he
05:53stays very much the baseline and put always the ball open and, like, he was suffocating, you know.
05:59He likes to go for it. And, yeah, he went pretty well to the net. That was pretty good.
06:06But, yeah, for sure, the level was really high. And, I don't know. I can't, like, say very much if
06:15it was, like, the same word. But I'll say it was the level of the other matches.
06:20Maybe I played better a little bit. But, yeah, like I said, today was not me playing bad. It was
06:26all his merit.
06:29There must be a difference between the Shaw Fonseca before Roland Garros and today's Fonseca. I mean, what did you
06:35discover about yourself? What did you find about Shaw Fonseca, the player, after these two weeks?
06:43Still the same guy, for sure. Just knowing a little bit better his limits. Didn't know if I could handle
06:53a five-hour match or a four-hour match.
06:57And nowadays, I know I never saw my limit yet, but I already know that I can be confident with
07:08my physique.
07:09And, yeah, I think it's more confident with my game, the way that I'm playing, that my mentality is on
07:21the right path.
07:21I think, after two matches that I had, losing the first two sets and then trying to do other things
07:30and trying to find other ways to play and got through.
07:36So, yeah, I think maybe it's the same draw, but with finding new stuff, you know.
