00:00It was a really heartbreaking scene that someone could just throw this family away.
00:03We knew that if we didn't take them right in and there, the babies wouldn't survive the night.
00:07Once we got the family to protect animals worldwide's emergency hospital,
00:11we realized how small the puppies actually were.
00:18They were barely moving because it had been so cold, so that was the scary part as well.
00:23We had to really revive them and stabilize them.
00:27Mama Regina was very attentive, and she just wanted to be there for them like the good mother that she
00:33was.
00:33She was working with everything she had. It wasn't her fault that she was thrown away in the trash.
00:40They smelled very strongly of trash, which makes us believe that they might have been in there for some time.
00:48After several days, they started opening their eyes and just looking into them,
00:53seeing that each one was its own little life, its own little personality just really warmed our hearts.
01:01They're just running around, showing off their little personalities,
01:05and we're just grateful that we were able to be there for them.
01:11We were overjoyed to find out that every single puppy, all five puppies, found amazing families.
01:19We're looking for a home for Regina, who would be very open and patient,
01:24somebody who will let her warm up to them on her own time.
01:28She needs to also be in an only dog home.
01:30She is currently in Brazil, but we are definitely open to adopting her to the States.
