00:17to start afresh with his new responsibility, having met Congress President Malik Arjun Khadge.
00:25There will be a CLP meeting tomorrow at 4 o'clock at Bangalore in conference room of Janswara.
00:34That is what we have decided. So our two observers will be coming, both the General Secretaries,
00:40Administration, GSO Mr. Venisopalji and our other Sujiwaraji, both of them are coming.
00:50And our Secretaries also will be here. They will connect with their presence,
00:55we will connect a CLP meeting and then the process will be there.
01:03Alright, so that's the big news. The DK Shiv Kumar we now hear, speaking more as the one heading the
01:09state.
01:10Finally the moment has come to him but importantly remember what the future will be for Karnataka cabinet
01:15because now the decisions will have to be taken. Not as a deputy chief minister agreeing to what the CM
01:21has to say
01:21but as someone who is in full authority, full position to take those decisions and which will be one of
01:29those first ones.
01:30That would be very interesting. But before that a CLP meeting is expected, 4pm tomorrow.

01:50DK Shiv Kumar set to take over that position that he had been aiming for for years now.
01:54But how are we looking at one, the CLP meeting? What's on agenda do you think will happen?
02:03Well the agenda of CLP is to elect the new leader for congress and legislative party who will essentially become
02:09the next chief minister of Karnataka. The short while from now, you know, DK Shiv Kumar in all likelihood is
02:18going to meet Rahul Gandhi
02:19and in fact he just came outside from Karnataka Bhawan. We tried to get a word from him but he
02:25didn't speak.
02:25He only, when we asked him, were I going to take oath to which he smiled and said that I
02:34don't know who's going to be
02:35chosen as the next CLP and then we would be knowing who's going to be the next chief minister.
02:41So clearly, you know, DK Shiv Kumar is keeping the cards close, you know, keeping the cards close to his
02:51chest
02:51and he is not, you know, speaking much on the matter given the fact that he has not yet been
02:56chosen as a CLP leader.
02:58So therefore, he is waiting for that big meeting tomorrow at 4pm that's going to take place wherein in all
03:05likelihood,
03:05DK Shiv Kumar will be elected as a CLP leader and who will essentially become the next chief minister of
03:14Karnataka
03:15since Congress has the majority numbers in their favour. Also, we must understand that not just DK Shiv Kumar was
03:21here, DK Suresh,
03:22his brother was also here and he also didn't, you know, speak with media. We tried to get a word
03:29from him but he also chose to remain silent.
03:34So clearly, you know, as far as DK Shiv Kumar and DK Suresh are concerned, at this point of time,
03:40they are not speaking much with media positions
03:42because obviously, they are waiting for the right moment to come which in all likelihood would be coming tomorrow, you
03:49know, following that big CLP meet.
03:52Rahul has met the big leaders, at least the deck is cleared for him but of course, there are some
03:57more official protocols like the CLP meeting,
03:59all of that will happen. Rahul will keep a close eye on those developments.
