00:00The AI industry is moving beyond screens and computers.
00:03That was the final message from NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang to reporters here in Taipei.
00:08He says the next major opportunity is what he calls physical AI,
00:13systems that can think and act in the real world.
00:16The perfect example is self-driving cars.
00:18Another example is human robots, and those days are coming,
00:22and it's going to be a great growth opportunity for all of us.
00:24Speaking at NVIDIA's GTC presser during Computex,
00:28Huang addressed concerns about whether NVIDIA can meet booming demand.
00:33He says the company has enough supply to support expansion,
00:36but that capacity is tight across the industry.
00:39Huang also pointed to NVIDIA's growing partnerships in Taiwan,
00:43including collaboration with MediaTek on a new AI chip
00:46as NVIDIA seeks to enter the PC market.
00:49We have enough supply for very robust growth.
00:55However, we are supply constrained.
00:57For example, this is one of my partners.
01:00Today, I can't do my chip without MediaTek's help,
01:05and they've managed the supply chain for the SOC.
01:08So notice, they're now part of my supply chain,
01:11and they're incredibly supportive, as you know.
01:13He is also facing questions about China.
01:16Huang gave no new timeline for when NVIDIA's most advanced chips
01:19could return to the Chinese market.
01:21The restrictions were part of earlier efforts by Washington
01:24to limit Beijing's access to AI computing power.
01:28It comes after he joined U.S. President Donald Trump's business delegation
01:32to Beijing last month, meeting top Chinese leaders.
01:35The United States has licensed our chips to be sold to China,
01:40and we're going to try to serve that market the best we can.
01:43And so whenever they're ready for us to address the market opportunities,
01:48they will be ready.
01:49China remains one of NVIDIA's biggest potential markets.
01:52But Beijing is yet to approve the sale of some of the company's advanced chips in China,
01:57as it works to foster its own chip suppliers.
02:00As NVIDIA waits for clearer access to the Chinese market,
02:04its new partnerships show that it is betting that demand for AI infrastructure
02:07will only keep growing.
