00:10:22So let's talk about their options.
00:10:24Now, because they need less fuel, that allows two tires perhaps to be a call on a green flag pit

00:10:30If you need fuel enough that, you know, you have to wait there anyway, you might as well put four
00:10:34tires on them.
00:10:38Now, and this is where I want to commend Goodyear.
00:10:42In years past, we would have stopped two yellows ago, and this would be a fuel mileage race at this
00:10:46point.
00:10:47An absolute fuel mileage race.
00:10:49But with these tires that wear out, as everybody wants them.
00:10:52The garage wants them.
00:10:53The drivers.
00:10:53Everybody wants them to wear out.
00:10:55That's what's taken this automatic fuel mileage racing and kind of shelved it.
00:11:00And I think that's better than some of these racetracks.
00:11:02I think having tires that wear out, you know, we don't want to see just fuel conservation every week.
00:11:08And I think Goodyear's forced the teams to handle, to have balance, to have their tires last.

01:07:23I mean, we had no idea who was going to win it, literally the very end.
01:07:27Yeah, the whole race was just, you never knew how to call it.

01:07:34I feel for Seabelle because, you know, he's just so close so often,
01:07:39and something happens, and it just doesn't work out.
01:07:43You said it reminded you a little bit of your career, Mark, in what way?
01:07:46My early career, we ran so good so often, and something would go wrong a lot.
01:07:52And it kind of, you know, Seabelle kind of reminds me of that.
01:07:55He's, like, so close so often, and it doesn't work out.
01:08:00Well, he controlled the race, right?
01:08:02And his last win came 20 races ago at another concrete track in Bristol.
01:08:05So I just assumed kind of tonight was his night, and he had control of the race until that yellow
01:08:10come out.
01:08:11We were sitting here talking.
01:08:11I said, there's no way this thing ends under green, I promise you.
01:08:14And sure enough, 17 car had a rotor go down and a three, and it re-racked the entire thing.
01:08:20And then we just saw Denny Hamlin just do, he's like a sensei.
01:08:24He's like a black belt, right?
01:08:26He's not going to do anything sexy.
01:08:28He does some incredible things behind the wheel of a race car, and we saw that tonight.
01:08:31He didn't get over his skis, right?
01:08:32He wrapped the bottom off a one and two when he needed to get the clear off a two
01:08:37and ultimately drove off at the win in front of two guys that were probably a little bit more fast
01:08:42than him.
01:08:42But we saw the master at work tonight and bag his 62nd career win, Mark.
01:08:48Man, Toyota, they certainly won their first Nashville race in grand fashion, finishing one, two, three.

01:10:03A Nashville moment that we will remember for quite some time.
01:10:08Mother Nature really gave us a lot throughout the course of the last four or five hours or so.
01:10:14Unfortunately, Chase Briscoe had to settle for third.
01:10:17He had a shot there at the end.

01:10:24Chase, that was a wild finish amongst your teammates.
01:10:27What opportunities did you have?
01:10:29I mean, it seemed like you did everything you could on the top there.
01:10:32Yeah, you know, I kept trying to – with them running side by side,
01:10:35I just kept trying to back up my entries to try to get a big run to take them three
01:10:39wide.
01:10:39And they just kept running each other up the racetrack.
01:10:42So I just kept trying to hit the bottom.
01:10:44And Denny kind of went to the apron.
01:10:46I was going to go three wide to the bottom because I knew if I just hit the bottom,
01:10:49they were all kind of run up.
01:10:50And he kind of covered it.
01:10:52So then I went to the top and was able to get to Christopher's right rear.
01:10:55And then just everybody, obviously, we were just all driving in so deep that we slide up the racetrack.
01:10:59And I was just kind of in no man's land after that.
01:11:01So, yeah, hate that we weren't on the better end of it.
01:11:05We had a really, really good Bass Pro Shops track or Toyota.
01:11:07I just felt like it was certainly capable of winning and ended up third.
01:11:11But great day for JGR, obviously, one, two, three.
01:11:13And I just wish we were the ones in first.
01:11:15Where's all this speed coming from for JGR, Chase?
01:11:18We've seen it week after week that now the teammates are battling, you know,
01:11:21four cars in the top four a lot of the time.
