00:00I suspect this is going to be a lot about pain management.
00:03I remember breaking bones because I broke a pinky as well.
00:07I broke my thumb.
00:08And the biggest issue was not the functionality of it
00:11because you can still move it when it's broken,
00:14but it was the pain.
00:16The pain is what kills you.
00:17And so as long as he can manage pain, I think he'll be okay.
00:21Now, we already know he's not a great shooter,
00:23but the question is...
00:24Well, he's not a shooter, period,
00:26because 98% of his shots are on lobs and dunks and layups.
00:30The question will be, can he grab a ball with his right hand
00:34or whatever, dunk it, and feel comfortable?
00:38Or can he catch a lob?
00:39Or catch a lob because he's now using his thumb and his index finger,
00:44his middle finger, and his ring finger,
00:46as opposed to all five at the same time.
00:47Or they might just tape them together.
00:49You tape your pinky finger and your ring finger together
00:52so that you're not really using it.
00:55It's kind of being moved by your ring finger.
00:57And look, I hope it's not an issue,
01:00but it is something to keep an eye on
01:02to see how limited he is with that.
