00:00This is a carryover, I think, to, again, really all of spring training.
00:04I think Ben's offseason, the failures of last, you know, struggles of last year.
00:11I think Ben just realized that to be, you know, a successful pitcher
00:18and the best version himself, he just needed more.
00:20He figured out he felt boxed in pitching, if that makes sense.
00:25It's when you got two choices, and as you go through the lineup,
00:30those two choices felt tougher and tougher to deliver.
00:33So adding a sinker, adding a changeup, it's just freed him up with choices, I think.
00:42And it just gives you a better feeling on the mound when you're kind of sitting there,
00:45like, what am I going to throw here and know I got more choices.
00:49And to handle different types of swings, different types of hitters,
00:52goes multiple times to the lineup.
00:58Mm-hmm.
01:01So I think that has just really freed him up.
01:04I mean, he's always had great stuff.
01:06He's had success in the league.
01:10But it's just freed him up.
01:11And I think that confidence has come from that.
01:14Yeah, the confidence is something you can see it.
01:18Like, he's – what a good story.
01:20A guy who, like, realized he needed to do more, came to you and talked about it,
01:25and then went and did more.
01:27That's – I feel like that should be celebrated as somebody kind of taking control
01:31and trying to make the most out of what they have with this opportunity.
01:37Yeah, I give a lot of credit to Ben.
01:39I think he was very much on it as the season ended last year
01:43and very much was able to kind of frame his struggles in a good way
01:50and took real accountability and ownership for it and did something about it.
