00:07How excited are you for this film to come out?
00:09It's just a fun film, and it's beautifully shot.
00:13Hayley Duff did an incredible job on it.
00:14It's got horses, it's got romance, it's got drama, it's got tears.
00:18And also, it's like, to see your name in Hayley Duff,
00:20it's like millennial dreams coming true.
00:22Like, this is so fun.
00:23She's the best. She really is.
00:25You know what? I love her so much,
00:26and I respect someone that likes to keep it tight.
00:30You know, like, she's just, she's been an incredible friend.
00:34We've become really close since this movie.
00:36And I just have a lot of respect for, you know, for her
00:39and how she holds herself with everything.
00:41The one thing I'll say is that, you know,
00:42anytime a headline comes out, it makes her sick.
00:45Like, same thing, we have that.
00:46I'm like, I hate when a headline comes out,
00:48because it's just, ugh.
00:49With Hayley directing this, and you guys have been very close.
00:52Did she give you advice for your directing?
00:54She did, too, which was great.
00:56And, again, like, she's one of the reasons why I was like,
00:58I want to try this, too.
00:59You know, and she was definitely very helpful
01:02and gave me some good tips.
01:03I think that she is underestimated as a talent.
01:06Actually, we were talking about her on the show in recent months
01:09because she co-wrote some of my favorite songs ever performed
01:13and recorded by Hilary Duff.
01:15Like, her pen game is strong.
01:16Oh, I didn't even know that.
01:16Yeah.
01:17No, she is amazing.
01:18Honestly, she's a great songwriter,
01:19obviously a great screenwriter, a great director, everything.
01:22Like, I feel like she is more talented than people give her credit for.
01:26Let me just say, when she hosted that search for the next Elle Woods,
01:29that MTV show, it was like, did you ever watch that?
01:31No, I didn't.
01:32It was this amazing competition reality TV show
01:34where they were searching for the next girl to play Elle Woods
01:37in League of Legal and the musical on Broadway.
01:39And she hosted it.
01:40And, like, my little gay ass, like, would run home to watch this.
01:44Like, every, oh my god, it was so good.
01:45Also, the Broadway legends that came from that show is kind of insane.
01:48Like, we have Haley Duff to think.
01:49Yeah, it's for a lot.
01:50You know what I mean?
01:51And I will say, she's not a jealous girl.
01:53She's a girl's girl.
01:54Like, truly.
01:55Like, in everything.
