00:00Was there an overall trend that you noticed on the Oscars red carpet?
00:02Was there like a color or a style or anything that you noticed?
00:07So, okay, so there were some amazing black and white looks last night.
00:11I loved Rose Byrne in Dior Couture.
00:13She looked absolutely stunning.
00:14Obviously, Tayana was also in black and white.
00:16This awards season has been marked by a lot of black and white.
00:20Like that's kind of been, to me at least, the dominant trend on every carpet thus far.
00:25And there was plenty of color at the Oscars, which I really liked seeing.
00:29Yes.
00:29Jamie Lawson from Sinners had this amazing purple beaded low wave that I loved.
00:35Yeah, that color is incredible.
00:37It's incredible.
00:37And like those are all strands of beadwork.
00:41So it's probably extremely heavy, but she looks, she makes it look like it's really light.
00:45I loved Kate Hudson's fit.
00:46Kate, yes, was in color too.
00:48So she was in Giorgio Armani Preve.
00:50That was a beautiful color.
00:52Honestly, that might have been like my favorite look from the night.
00:54Did she know she was going to be sitting next to Baby Yoda?
00:56Because she kind of masked.
00:57I said that too.
00:59I was like, yes, that's right.
01:00I slacked exactly that.
01:01It was part of the plan.
01:02It had to have been.
01:03Because she is, that is giving Baby Yoda green.
01:05It's Baby Yoda couture.
01:07Yeah, so she was in Giorgio Armani Preve, this beautiful jade green color, embellished from
01:12top to bottom.
01:13And then she was wearing $35 million worth of green diamonds, casual, to match.
01:20Did anybody do any looks that really surprised you?
01:22Like, did someone go out of their comfort zone?
01:23I mean, honestly, I, yeah, Demi Moore was another one in color.
01:28That was the other thing.
01:29Feathers were also a big deal.
01:31We had Tiana in her feathered Chanel.
01:33We had Demi Moore doing this, like, peacock Gucci moment.
01:36There was another feather moment that I am.
01:39Oh, Nicole Kidman in Chanel.
01:40Oh, Nicole looked great.
01:42She looked amazing.
01:43Oh, look at her.
01:43She looks amazing.
01:44Yeah.
01:45Was there anyone who missed the mark for you?
01:47One thing I noticed and maybe didn't love as much, there was a lot of, like, bridal, not
01:53bridal cosplay.
01:54There was a lot of white on the carpet.
01:56Okay.
01:56And I think not everyone pulled it off as well.
01:59As Elle Fanning.
02:00As Elle Fanning.
02:00Or I loved, I personally loved Emma Stone's Louis Vuitton.
02:04She looked good.
02:04But it's funny, the second you said bridal, she gave me bridesmaids a little bit.
02:07I think it's a thing because, like, she's so, like, her personality shines through no
02:11matter what.
02:11So she's like, I can just throw something on.
02:12Right.
02:13I do love the shimmer.
02:14The shimmer to the gown is so beautiful.
02:16And that's all beadwork.
02:17It's not that it's satin.
02:18Yeah.
02:19I would say of the bridal looks, one that I didn't love as much was Priyanka's red carpet
02:23look.
02:23It was white Dior.
02:24It was sort of fine, you know?
02:27Oh, okay.
02:28I'm seeing what you're saying.
02:29I just like a little bit of a pop.
02:31It's the Oscars.
