00:05after returning to Australia from Syria last year.
00:09She will face charges of entering or remaining in a declared area
00:13and being a member of a terrorist organisation.
00:16Both offences carry a maximum penalty of 10 years' imprisonment.
00:20The 34-year-old woman allegedly travelled to Syria between 2013 and 2014
00:25before becoming linked to ISIS during the height of the extremist group's self-declared caliphate.
00:31It will be alleged the woman travelled to Syria between 2013 and 2014 to join ISIS.
00:38The woman was detained by Kurdish forces in March 2019
00:42and held with her other family members in the Al-Hul internally displaced persons camp.
00:48She returned to Australia from Lebanon with another woman on 26 September 2025.
00:53She was charged under the AFP-led Operation Currajong investigation
00:58and is expected to face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Thursday.
