00:00Today is the anniversary of the 1967 referendum.
00:08But I tell you what, we've been here for 65,000 years and we're not going to go anywhere.
00:16We need to get this right.
00:18We're asking the non-Indigenous people of Australia to walk beside us.
00:23And it's all about truth-telling.
00:26And once again, thank you, Travis, for bringing that up.
00:30Because it needs to be great.
00:31If anyone questions the point that truth-telling is not needed in this country,
00:35just look behind us right now around the support and solidarity of people who have turned up in person.
00:40We've got people walking right across the country today in the spirit of reconciliation.
00:46And we as First Peoples want to move forward.
00:48But reconciliation needs to be, I guess, founded in the process of truth-telling.
00:53And that's how we move forward.
00:55There's no reconciliation with the truth being shared without justice.
00:59And then we can heal and move forward to a more hopeful and shared and equitable future together.
01:04We can get to know our rights…
01:04But I'm so happy about that…
01:05I think that we can do it, but today at the moment, I will be able to move forward to
01:07the event.
01:08We can do it.
01:09However, we are looking forward to it.
01:09There are no surprises.
01:09We can't do it.
01:09You
