00:00Welcome back.
00:01Members of the Global Sumo Flotilla returned to their respective countries after being
00:06detained and deported by Israeli authorities following their participation in the recent
00:10mission to Gaza.
00:11In their statements, the activists accused the Israeli authorities of continuing to use
00:15torture, beatings and assaults against the attendees.
00:18Also, the activists called for the international pressure to stop an extermination and ethnic
00:23cleansing of the Palestinian people.
00:25Israel intercepted the Global Sumo Flotilla in international waters earlier this week.
00:29The convoy aimed to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza amid Israel's ongoing land and naval
00:34blockade, with the enclaves facing severe shortages of food and essential supplies.
00:44I think they have several torture and humiliation packs there, and I think we received level
00:50one, but I believe they apply a higher degree of torture to Palestinians.
00:54For us, it was lighter, it was beatings and continuous humiliation, but within limits.
01:02We knew it was going to end.
01:04For a Palestinian, it is never going to end.
01:13My boat was among the first twenty to be intercepted, out of the fifty we were.
01:17I spent two nights and three days on a prison ship, sleeping in a wooden container full of
01:22splinters with portable toilets.
01:24There were seven portable toilets and only to open, where we reached 190 activists on
01:28that ship.
01:29There was another ship that had other people.
01:31I was the only Mexican until the last intercepted ship arrived, which was Al's.
01:35I got to see him arrive and leave that container where they tortured them, where we all heard
01:39how they were beaten, and yes, psychologically it is strong.
01:42It is strong to see human suffering, inflicted by these heartless people.
01:46Absolutely.
01:47It's strong to see human conditions.
01:50meals are very high McMur twins.
01:51Later.
