00:11said that before, but let me not waste time. Books or movies
00:17or widgets. If you like something, please leave a good
00:23review. Not necessarily a five star review because someone
00:27might be suspicious. Oh, those are all just paid reviews. Three
00:31or four out of the five star is a great review. And then
00:34please leave a few details why you give it the three or the
00:40four, why you like it. Because the problem is, to quote Taylor
00:47Swift, shake it off, Eric Church, The Outsiders, the female
00:55rat group from the 90s, Playa. Playa's going to play, well, not
01:01that part, but the haters going to hate part. Yes, we all know what I,
01:07in my Life and Living series, I talk about the mass holes, the
01:11masses of, the masses of asses. They're always miserable and they
01:18love spewing hate. You see it online. If you're on social media, you know these
01:26people. They're always just angry and nasty and depressed and get negative
01:34noise and hate, hate, hate, hate, hate. Attack, attack, attack, attack, attack,
01:39attack. Conversely, people may love a book. I've run into this with my books. I've run
01:47into someone on the street. Oh, I bought your book. I love the book. I'm glad you
01:51wrote the book. Well, thank you. Did you leave me an Amazon review? No. Well, why not?
01:58Other people need to see a positive Amazon review. So if you see a book review, a book
02:05on Amazon, like my roller coasters, The Life Kind, just came out a week and a half
02:11ago. Zero reviews yet as of the time of this recording. That doesn't mean no one's
02:17bought it. Doesn't mean people haven't. I get the reports. I see the sales. I see the
02:23Kindle Unlimited page reads. I know people are reading it, but only the haters, the point
02:32being, seem to be the ones who love to hate. You hate. Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate. Find
02:39any excuse to hate, hate, hate, hate, hate. You know it. You see it on social media. So
02:47if you like a book, I'm not speaking just for myself here. I'm speaking on behalf of
02:55other authors because what prompted this is a fellow author, a female, in tears, got a
03:03negative review. Yes, they're upsetting. And they're especially upsetting because someone
03:10might think it's an actual review. When really what it was, so-and-so doesn't like so-and-so,
03:19so they're just attacking their book. Spewing hate. So if you like a book or a movie or a widget,
03:29please leave a positive review. Not necessarily a five-star. People think those are bought and
03:36paid for. A four-star, four out of five stars is a great review. And then a short reasoning
03:42why you like the story. Don't talk about the grammar. Don't talk about, do you like the character?
03:53What did you like about the character? Without too much of a spoiler, but why you like the story
03:59why you think it's important for our time? Like I saw Michael Jackson movie, the Michael movie the
04:05other day. I was on with Rick Walker, Maverick News the other day, talking. Yes, some things are left
04:13out. They're focusing very much on the positive. But as I told Rick, that's what's needed for our time.
04:21There's so much nasty and negative out there. And Michael, the brand, the image, whether you think
04:31it's somewhat not all real or not, the point was like him bringing the gang members together,
04:40trying to bring people together, trying to share joy through music and mending bridges through music.
04:50That message is needed for our time. I don't care what the motivation behind the creation of the
04:57movie may have been. It's a needed message for our time. And that's what I say about the movie.
05:06Does he look like MJ? You could see a familiar resemblance, but no. But when he takes to the stage,
05:14oh my, it's like seeing MJ again. So if you like something, say it. We're all busy. People come up
05:25to me all the time.
05:26Oh, I got your book. I read such, which, this book or that book. I love it. Did you leave
05:32an Amazon review?
05:33No. Well, people need to see the positive reviews because, again, the haters are going to hate. The haters are
05:41going to attack. Whether they like it, they may actually like the book, but, you know, so-and-so may
05:49not like
05:50Susie. That's not her name. That talked to me about her book, negative review. But Susie, sadly, may just not
06:00like
06:01Susie for some reason. So she's leaving Susie in nasty review. Good people who like Susie's book need to say
06:10why they like
06:12Susie's book to help Susie out. This is true of books. It's true of films. It's true of widgets. All
06:21right. I just
06:21wanted to do this short thing. Again, haters going to hate. We all know that. So we, my Life and
06:30Living series is
06:31about spreading joy. What can we do? Michael Jackson, I mentioned. Man in the Mirror.
06:37Rick Springfield, prayer. I send a prayer to heaven for the chance to be a better man than the man
06:43I see.
06:43What can we do to help spread joy while the mass holes are out there spreading misery? We need to
06:52try to
06:53offset all the misery that's out there. What can we do? And a little thing like leaving a positive review
07:03for Susie about her book is a great kindness you can do.
07:11Sing the Michael movie. If you like it, you go on, what, Rotten Tomatoes and say how much you liked
07:19it
07:20and why you liked it. Not just, oh, five out of five stars.
07:27Why? Four stars, because those are more believable. I'm just telling you.
07:34From personal opinion. Because you can buy your way onto the New York Times bestseller list.
07:40But I've deleted three videos already. I've gone too long. And I went into that. I'm not going to go
07:47into that now. But so leave good, realistic, honest reviews on things. Please do people that kind
08:08love you all. I'm glad I deleted those three other videos that I went much longer on. Thank you all.
