01:59How many times on this show have you heard me say,

02:14I would have never thought when the start of the month of March of 2026 started,

02:34about not an April Fool's serious stuff.

02:39But, I just realized season three episode March video exclusive special 10

02:50was actually dropped today.

02:55Again, not an April Fool's joke, very serious subject, but a mistake.

03:05That was actually April's first special video exclusive.

03:12Anyway, so apologies for the error.

03:17I'm not going to try to go back and correct it.

03:20I will, and I apologize, this might confuse people,

03:25I will properly label this as April video exclusive number two,

03:32even though, I think you know.

03:37Today, customer service.

03:39Couple things.

03:41Follow up to multiple articles I wrote at theforgenews.com,

03:53Customers, constantly, over and over and over and over,

03:57it seemed, something comes up.

04:00You try to address it,

04:02and one, it's hard to get a hold of anybody,

04:07and then two, the person you do get a hold of is just there to answer the phones.

04:13They don't know anything.

04:15They can't do anything.

04:18Customer service sucks in America.

04:23It just does.

04:24Now, two things.

04:26I was on the phone with someone today,

04:30and I told them I was going to out them.

04:33I was going to name names,

04:34but I'm going to show grace

04:38and keep this generic.

04:40I'm not even going to mention the particular product,

04:45just to keep this generic,

04:47because this matters and applies in many cases,

04:52many situations.

04:55A particular product has a,

04:58at this company,

05:00has a gaping security hole.

05:03I lay it out.

05:05I explain it.

05:07But don't care.

05:09Don't care.

05:11Tried five times.

05:13Called customer service one day.

05:16I think it was yesterday,

05:18or was it the day before?

05:20Called their customer service.

05:22Talked to someone for a fifth time.

05:25I'm like, oh, how can I help you?

05:27Let me, you can't help me.

05:29The four people who are phone answers before you

05:33didn't fix the problem.

05:35Here I am trying a fifth time

05:38to get an address.

05:40I want to talk to a supervisor.

05:42Okay, put you on hold.

05:44Thirty-three minutes later,

05:47that same person who couldn't help me

05:50comes back on.

05:52Oh, so sorry.

05:54All the customer service representative supervisors

06:00have now left the building.

06:03They've gone home for the day.

06:05You've been on hold 33 minutes.

06:08Sucks to be you.

06:10Call back another time.

06:12Not, no, I will be sure someone will call you back.

06:16We will make sure somebody will call you up.

06:19Call back another time.

06:20Not acceptable.

06:23So I wrote an email.

06:25And of course, now two, three days later,

06:28heard nothing from the company back

06:31regarding the email.

06:34Nothing.

06:36I also wrote a partner of there.

06:41Again, I want to be careful.

06:43I don't want to deal in specifics here.

06:46But a sister company.

06:49They're related companies.

06:52Person did call me back

06:54from the sister or brother company or whatever.

06:58Not necessarily parent company,

07:01but they're connected.

07:02They're related.

07:03They cooperate.

07:05Person called.

07:06Yeah, but there's nothing I can do.

07:08We're really company QRS.

07:12They're a separate entity XYZ.

07:15Even though QRS and XYZ work hand in hand,

07:20they advertise together.

07:22Oop, I probably shouldn't have even given away that hint.

07:26And that's the, right?

07:27How many commercials do you see on a day?

07:30Oh, we here at XYZ.

07:34I don't want to see ABC

07:35because, right, ABC is a real company.

07:39I bought my TV from them.

07:41And they were very helpful.

07:43Actually, I bought a Sharp TV.

07:47It didn't work.

07:49It got replaced.

07:50The replacement didn't work.

07:52It got replaced.

07:53So the third time they said,

07:54ah, pick a different TV.

07:57So I got an even bigger TV

07:59of a different brand

08:01and it's been working great.

08:02So ABC was really good.

08:06Their customer service was really good.

08:08So kudos to ABC.

08:10So XYZ,

08:13the QRS says,

08:15oh, they can't really tell XYZ what to do.

08:19Well, you could at least forward the email

08:22because I copied both companies.

08:25The XYZ didn't bother to give back to me at all.

08:30QRS at least had the decency to talk to me

08:35and then say,

08:36ah, but there's nothing I could do.

08:38Well, yes,

08:39you,

08:40yeah,

08:41you can't tell me you don't know somebody

08:44at your sister company

08:45that you can escalate this too.

08:48You could at least do that,

08:50but nope,

08:51nope,

08:51nope.

08:52I can't do anything for you.

08:55I'm willing to listen.

08:56And like all the ads say,

08:58we care so much about our customers.

09:01No, you don't.

09:03That's just a PR BS bogus ad.

09:08How all these companies care so much

09:11about their covers,

09:12customers,

09:13but they got no customer service department

09:17really to show for it,

09:19or it's outsourced overseas.

09:24The other issue,

09:27for example,

09:29and I will name name here,

09:30we bought,

09:32my sister lives with me.

09:35She was with my mother

09:38when she had dementia

09:39in mother's house,

09:41and when she died,

09:42we decided,

09:43why keep two separate households?

09:45Let's combine.

09:47She's living here.

09:49Out of the basement,

09:51we needed a stove for the basement.

09:55Only certain stoves

09:57would manage to get down the basement,

09:59so we bought a hot point stove.

10:03Sorry,

10:05outed you.

10:06And

10:08the issue

10:10of security,

10:12a safety,

10:13a health issue

10:14that we've brought to

10:15several people's attentions,

10:18but nobody cares,

10:21is that

10:22you know how a stove,

10:24you're supposed to have to have

10:26a certain amount of pressure

10:28on the turn-on valve

10:31for it to be able to engage.

10:34Well,

10:35this one,

10:35if you just lightly skirt past it,

10:39and your coat nudges it,

10:41it'll turn on the gas,

10:44and gas will continue

10:45to fill the house

10:46till you notice it

10:48and turn it off.

10:49So we've pulled off

10:51all the knobs

10:52so that it is safe

10:54to have in the house.

10:58And the people we've called

11:00to try to address it,

11:02many lawyers

11:03expecting them

11:05to get involved,

11:06it's a,

11:07they all say

11:08they are

11:09product liability.

11:11and,

11:12you know,

11:13and,

11:14oh,

11:15well,

11:15you,

11:17but no,

11:18they're all ambulance chasers.

11:21Unless someone

11:22is really,

11:24really hurt

11:25or killed,

11:27and it's

11:28million dollar

11:29settlement territory,

11:31they don't want,

11:32saving a life

11:34doesn't matter to them

11:35at all.

11:37No.

11:37Get involved,

11:39get this product fixed,

11:41get this product

11:42replaced

11:43wherever it's at,

11:44get all the

11:44turn-on valves

11:47upgraded

11:48so they're safe.
