00:00Being a military brat, having two army sergeants as parents has taught me that,
00:05sacrifice has taught me that remembrance, and we believe that the entire country on this weekend,
00:11yes, we can have fun, but we also should know why we're able to have that fun.
00:15Yeah, and I think the exact same thing, like I grew up in a military family as well,
00:19and I think being a person from that family, you see it and you understand it more than some that
00:25may not have it,
00:26and I applaud you for going out and bringing a lot of attention to it, Rob.
00:34Well, it's not just myself.
00:36Being able to partner with USAA gives us an opportunity to truly show the rest of America
00:45what this service means to them, obviously what it means to us,
00:50and we want people to share those stories.
00:52You ask, like, what can people do to honor the military on this Memorial Day?
00:56I say, say a prayer at that cookout, at that pool party, to remember those fallen soldiers,
01:01but you can also use hashtag PoppyInMemory on social media to share the stories
01:05so that those legacies can continue to live on.
01:08I'm going to share as many as I possibly can the entire weekend on my own social media,
01:12but as long as we continue to tell the stories of the people who fell in honor of our country
01:18and of our freedoms, they'll never be forgotten,
01:20and that is ultimately what their families want the most.

01:30what Memorial Day weekend is all about.
01:32Robert, when we last talked, we were in person in Baltimore for the Army-Navy game,
01:37and you said something that stuck with me.
01:39You said the commanders need to get David Bailey or Jeremiah Love.
01:43Now, unfortunately, both those guys went before they picked.
01:46Yeah, they did.
01:47What do you think of Sonny Stiles?
01:51I love Sonny Stiles.
01:53I knew you guys were going to get into the football, because we love football in this country,
01:59but Sonny Stiles, I think, for the commanders, gives them a young linebacker
02:04who can play sideline to sideline.
02:06He's massive.
02:07I know you guys have seen him in the drills.
02:09He's extremely fast.
02:10The feeling that the guy has is unbelievable.
02:14I think he just adds to the youth movement that this defense has taken on, and Dan Quinn wants.
02:19So I think that it's a great addition.
02:22But at the end of the day, as you guys all know, Jaden Daniels is the key.
02:25If Jaden Daniels doesn't stay healthy, then nothing else matters.
02:29But I love the pick of Sonny Stiles, because he was the right pick at the right time.
02:35And then, you mentioned Jaden.
02:37Jaden's obviously the key, right?
02:38You play the position.
02:39It's the most important in sports.
02:41Do you think they've done enough to support Jaden maybe this offseason?
02:45You had Chica Conquo.
02:46You had Rashad White.
02:48You drafted Antonio Williams in the third round.
02:50How do you think Jaden is positioned in what's going to be a new offense, learning a new system?
02:57Yeah, you know, that came out right after the draft, and I said, you know, the question was posed to
03:02me,
03:02do I feel like the Commanders did enough to help get things turned around with Jaden Daniels?
03:07And my answer was no, because there's no amount of work that the team could put in that was going
03:12to help Jaden Daniels
03:14outside of Jaden Daniels being healthy.
03:16So I think the team has been structured in a way that if Jaden Daniels is healthy the entire season,
03:20that the Commanders will return to the playoffs.
03:24They will be a contender for the Super Bowl, and it all hinges on that.
03:28So I do think that what Adam Peters and Dan Quinn have done, have put this team and built it
03:33around Jaden
03:34in a way that if he is healthy, they will be successful.
03:37Hey, Robert, it's a tough connection.
03:40So if you've got to run, I understand.
03:42I did want to sneak one in on the Eagles, if you can still hear me, because we're in Philly
03:47territory here.
03:48We're in Delaware.
03:50It's a very interesting split here where it's like kind of Skins fans, Ravens fans, Eagles fans.
03:54I see a lot of thumbs down.
03:55Yeah, a lot of thumbs down for us.
03:57But what do you make of Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown's about to get traded?
04:02Do you think that Eagles team will be as good as they've been,
04:05or is there some change brewing there in Philadelphia?
04:12No, I don't think any change is going to happen.
04:13I think Howie Roseman does an amazing job of putting talent on their roster.
04:19I think with A.J. Brown, it's just a matter of does he want to be there?
04:24I think if he wants to be there, that receiving core is probably the best in the NFL,
04:29and I think if he doesn't want to be there, you move Devontae Smith into a wide receiver number one
04:34role
04:35where he's a cheerleader, you know, in that meeting room.
04:39But you don't want hostages, right?
04:42You want volunteers.
04:44And I think that's kind of how the Eagles are approaching this.
04:47But before we go, I do want to honor one of our service members who's sitting right next to me
04:53and is here with me on behalf of USAA.
04:57He's actually served in the military longer than I've been alive, and he just arrived in January.
05:03And I'd like to give him an opportunity just to talk about what we're doing here with USA
