Today’s work, 'Liquid Nomad,' was written based on the core theory of "Liquid Modernity" by sociologist Zygmunt Bauman, who offered sharp insights into the fluidity of modern society. Bauman defined modern society as a "Liquid" state—where nothing is fixed and everything flows like water. This project seeks to visualize the nature of a city that flows anywhere without a fixed destination through a visual narrative.
In the video, the taxi serves as a symbol of constant mobility, while the blurred neon lights in the rain and the flickering interior lights reflect the self-portrait of modern individuals whose identities are no longer fixed. Rather than trying to own the city, the Muse, Luna, adapts herself to its rhythm and drifts through it. She is projected as a sophisticated "Nomad," navigating through a liquid city where everything melts away, yet managing to keep her own distinct color (Red).
The line "Just let it flow, this nameless town of ghost" sings of a detached coolness—choosing to ride the current rather than resisting a fluid world. Furthermore, the declaration "Liquid mind—I’m just swimming through the stream" symbolizes a free spirit liberated from rigid stereotypes.
