00:00There's some people feel that this is a potential Super Bowl preview the way that the Broncos have played recently
00:05and the 49ers have played all season long.
00:08Joe, the oddsmakers are telling us here that both teams on paper are very similar.
00:12San Francisco minus three at home against Denver.
00:16The Broncos once again cap off a month of September where they're the best betting team in the history of
00:22the league at home.
00:23They did it again.
00:24They went 2-0.
00:25They were down in the half both times.
00:28Came back again.
00:28Teams get tired.
00:30Remember that for next year, folks.
00:31You got to take the Broncos at home in September.
00:33These teams are not ready to play there.
00:36Rams were not ready.
00:37Jaguars were not ready.
00:38But now it's a different story.
00:39They got to go to San Francisco this week.
00:41You know, initially when I was looking at this game earlier in the week, Joe, I thought, wow, like San
00:45Francisco seems like a really short number.
00:46This seems pretty easy.
00:48Why can't the 49ers just win by five, win by six?
00:51I guess we are down to another season that I didn't realize when I saw the injury report that the
00:5649ers are the most injured team again in the national football.
00:59League, even on defense.
01:01So, you know, the 49ers are the only team that I could look to in this matchup here because I
01:06do think that Denver is completely different on the road than they are at home.
01:10But because of the injuries to San Francisco, I'm pausing on this game in particular.
01:16And the line has gone down, by the way, to San Francisco, minus two and a half.
01:19I still am scared of Denver away from mile high, Joe.
01:23That hasn't changed for me.
01:25Yeah, I recognize that.
01:27The Broncos are my pick to go to the Super Bowl this year from the AFC.
01:31They should have gone there last year.
01:32I think they were a Bo Nix injury away from going last year.
01:35And unfortunately, that just did not work out for them.
01:38But Nick Bosa out, Thompson out, Michael Williams out.
01:43So you're losing three guys on the defensive line.
01:47Also, you got Mike Evans being questionable in this game.
01:49And with the way he came off that field last week, I'd be shocked if he played or played well
01:54in this game because he looked like he was in excruciating pain when he came back.
01:58And I know he's a gamer, and I know he's a tough guy.
02:01Mike Evans is a Hall of Famer.
02:02But I like Denver Broncos' money line, plus 126.
02:05Look, Denver Broncos' story is a simple one.
02:07And I don't know when we're going to all wake up to it.
02:09First half's not going to look great.
02:11Bo Nix, you're going to question why you ever thought he was good at football.
02:14And then somewhere around the middle of the third quarter, Bo Nix just shows up.
02:18They find ways to win.
02:19Calls go their way.
02:20Like, the Broncos are just that team.
02:21They were that team last year.
02:22And so far, in 2026, they've been that team this year.
02:26I think Jalen Waddle works a lot in this game.
02:27Now, the one thing the Broncos got to tighten up is they've given up way too many yards on the
02:30ground so far to start the year.
02:32A good chunk of that came against Kenneth Walker.
02:34So I think they were ill-prepared for just how aggressive they were going to be with the run on
02:40the Kansas City side of that football.
02:41But I think now you've got to tighten things up here against Christian McCaffrey in this unit.
02:45And if you can contain McCaffrey a little bit in this game, I think that puts you in a really
02:48good spot to have a close fourth quarter and come out with a victory here.
02:51And that seems to be what Bo Nix does.
02:53He finds ways in close games to make that one play that you don't.
02:56And at the end of the day, plus money on the Denver Broncos, I think I'll take that.

03:02I think I'm going to take the other side here of this game, but I can see either side coming
03:06in.
03:07But, yeah, I'm going to wait to see Denver go on the road and win a big game.
