00:00What happens when a queen is asked to film her life?
00:02Find out in my untucked life.
00:05Tonight, with me, Hershey the Court Jatay.
00:10Hi, everybody.
00:11My name is Hershey the Court Jatay from season 16.
00:14And now, All Stars 11.
00:16And yes, I am still a drag queen.
00:19I'm a full-time drag queen.
00:21So I have not put down the makeup brushes.
00:23I have not put down the wigs, back to work,
00:26in a new space with my kids, with my partner,
00:28and with my cats now. I have two cats.
00:30You're probably going to hear them, like,
00:32fight each other in a minute,
00:33because they're, like, running all over the couches and stuff right now.
00:38Children, I'm getting ready for work.
00:41Tonight, I am getting ready for my first ever play.
00:45And I have to hurry up and get this mug on
00:47so I can get to the theater,
00:48because there's no room to put their makeup on at the theater.
00:55Now, this is terrible because I'm doing this play all year,
00:58but I cannot pronounce the name.
01:00As a matter of fact, this is Jack.
01:02Hello.
01:02What's the name of this play, Jack?
01:03This play is called The Wolf Wolf Doggie Visionized Bark of
01:06Sparkling Sunshine State Drag Race Spectacular 2026 Competition.
01:10Yeah.
01:11So I'm in that play.
01:13So this isn't the first time we've done this show.
01:16The first run was back in 2025, October.
01:19So it was the Miss All of That Sunshine,
01:22da-da-da-da-da-da, page of 2025.
01:23And we got great reception from our community.
01:27So the Elysian Theater asked us to do it a couple of more times this year,
01:31just to see if we can get some more behinds in the seats.
01:33And it worked.
01:34We sold out again.
01:35So I am very excited.
01:37So I'm about to get dressed and be happy to be here.
01:41I wanted to be an actor for a long time, but it moved to LA.
01:45Life happens.
01:46Somehow I ended up in a wig and makeup.
01:49But my friend, Siri, who is the director, she called me.
01:53And I said, you want me to be in a play?
01:55I don't know.
01:56And she said, no, like, give it a try.
01:58And I aced my audition on the first run.
02:01And then I was nervous about reading lines.
02:03And then by the, what, second or third rehearsal, I have my lines now.
02:06So I was like, eh, maybe this is a, maybe this is a nice segue.
02:10Maybe I know what I'm doing.
02:11This is Siri, this is the writer and director of the play that I'm in.
02:16And she's making me a working actor.
02:18I don't know this girl, literally at all.
02:22It's really been, like, an absolute dream to work with her.
02:26And, like, watching her, like, find her, like, actor self
02:28and, like, get into her theater mode has been, like, so sweet.
02:32If you want to see some more behind the scenes tea,
02:34don't forget to like and subscribe.
02:36This is one of my favorite drag queens, like, since Atlanta.
02:40Her name is Pitch Puck.
02:42What's up?
02:42I look like a 70s hooker.
02:44And that's the reason.
02:45And if you don't know if I'm a John or a Jane,
02:47you find out in the bio.
02:50It feels good to be embraced by a group of actors
02:52who have been acting for a long time.
02:54This is my good Judy Antibionics.
02:56Hi.
02:57She will be paying the pageant rigging bitch.
02:59Oh.
03:01Spoiler alert.
03:01It feels good to be in a drag space that doesn't feel competitive.
03:07And I'm not, I don't mean, uh, drag race per se,
03:09but I mean, like, in Los Angeles,
03:11it's so many working queens out here
03:14that it's hard to get into the venues
03:16that you really want to get into.
03:18And you have to perform every venue,
03:20like, it's an audition for the next gig.
03:23It just feels like you're with community
03:24and you're with your people.
03:25And we're just having a, we're having a good time tonight.
03:28For the fight scene that you have with Jack.
03:30Yes.
03:30Are you good?
03:31Do you want to run it one time before audience comes in?
03:33We can.
03:34Oh my God.
03:34Just to get a really quick one of these.
03:36Yeah.
03:40So the first time we did this,
03:42we had like three months to rehearse.
03:44This play, including the rewrites,
03:46we had maybe a total of five rehearsals.
03:50There are new lines.
03:51Stuff has been shifted and moved around
03:53to make other things make more sense.
03:56There is a total of like two or three scenes added to the play.
03:59So I think if you look at all of us,
04:01you can tell we're all kind of like a little bit on edge.
04:05The fighting, everything felt good.
04:07Everybody felt safe.
04:08Yeah.
04:08Okay.
04:09You guys are going to be phenomenal.
04:10Get off the stage and get the house in.
04:13But it's almost showtime.
04:15So whatever happens is about to happen now.
04:18I got to get over it.
04:19Hey guys.
04:20It's a little bit weird of a room,
04:21but we're going to circle up anyways.
04:23Thank you so much for being here.
04:24Thank you so much for fixing my talk.
04:27None of you are my real friends.
04:30When I joined the play the first time,
04:32I told Siri I wanted the full theater kid experience
04:36because it was something I was not allowed to experience
04:39when I was growing up.
04:40You should just go have a little bit of Fireball and Red Bull
04:43before a show and call it a day.
04:45This will be our best show, yeah.
04:47This will be our best show, yeah.
04:49And it helps too.
04:50You're shaking off your nerves and it's hyping you up.
04:52This will be our best show, yeah.
04:54This will be our best show, yeah.
04:56But it's still new.
04:59Okay, though we slay.
05:01Um, I'll let you know what places.
05:03We're just getting the house limited.
05:04So we're sprained.
05:06I'll let you know what to do.
05:07Stop That Train, the upcoming theatrical film starring RuPaul
05:11and directed by Adam Shankman, comes out June 12th.
05:15Watch the trailer on YouTube now.
05:22I'm just trying to, like, stay out of my head
05:26and stay present and stay in the moment
05:27and just remind myself that whatever happens,
05:30happens when I jump out on the stage.
05:32Once the lights go up, Hershey takes over then.
05:35Ty is not even involved anymore.
05:42I don't know.
05:43I just feel the most comfortable when I'm on stage.
05:45I don't, there's, there's no more nerves happening.
05:47Hello.
05:48My name is Selena forever and I really didn't give a damn
05:50about coming up with an introduction.
05:53All right, so the Woof Woof Plus title
05:57is a play about a pageant that is happening
06:00and throughout the pageant, queens keep coming up redacted.
06:05I'd make a joke about a death drop here, but it seems
06:08enough.
06:09We can't have drag queens dying.
06:11We don't have insurance.
06:12It's a whodunit.
06:14Somebody is taking out the queens and we have to find out
06:16exactly who is killing us.
06:19I mean, he could have.
06:20Who could you have?
06:21Could have what?
06:22Third day.
06:23I could not.
06:24The character I'm playing, her name is Selena forever.
06:27Selena is a drag queen who's kind of been around the world
06:32and aye, aye, aye.
06:33She's been there, done that.
06:34And she's kind of tired.
06:36She kind of like, drag is kind of like, picked her up,
06:38put her down, spit her out, all of those good things.
06:41And she doesn't know what's supposed to be next for her.
06:43When I first moved out here, I thought I was going to be a big star.
06:48Gorgeous.
06:50You talented.
06:52I can dance my ass off, okay?
06:55And I love drag.
06:57I really do, but it's not enough.
07:02Nothing is ever enough.
07:07That's something a lot of drag queens, drag kings and drag performers resonate with.
07:14Days turn into nights, nights turn into a night shift.
07:18And I forget why in the first place.
07:22You love this thing, but this thing isn't treating you great all the time.
07:26And it's hard to find that spark for it to keep on going.
07:32I asked for the gig.
07:35Get the gig.
07:36I told you, you did amazing.
07:39Then nothing.
07:42That's life, ain't it?
07:45You can't get tied to one single goal.
07:49I went home first on Drag Race.
07:51That was really hard because what do you do when you've gotten that one thing that you wanted
07:58for a long time?
07:59And this is one of the pinnacles of your career.
08:02And it's kind of snatched from you in a sense.
08:04Like you didn't get to experience the most of it.
08:06So I really related with Selena trying to like,
08:08I'm doing this thing and it's just not working.
08:11Do I quit?
08:13What if I quit too soon?
08:14What if I'm quitting too late?
08:16Not knowing where to go.
08:17Not knowing what to do.
08:18And when that door does open.
08:20Bitch.
08:24You better walk the wreck.
08:26My mindset going into All Stars is if I never get another call again,
08:30I'm going to do this run exactly how I want to do it.
08:32Say exactly what I want to say.
08:34Show my drag to my best ability.
08:36And I never get called again.
08:38Then at least I gave what I felt this time was everything I had.
08:46All the stuff that I dreamed of and that I wanted all the way back when I was a little
08:50kid in Missouri isn't done yet.
08:52I could still keep dreaming and it's not too late for me to have all the things that I'm asking
08:56for that I really want.
08:59That's what leaving Drag Race the first time felt like.
09:02It felt like everything was over and that's terrible to say, but that's what it felt like.
09:07And still being able to work after that moment and still having people embrace me after that moment, even though
09:14I didn't leave in the best light.
09:16It reminds me that it's kind of dumb to think that one bad moment that I had in life means
09:23the rest of everything is over.
09:26Selena really gave me motivation to keep going, seeing everybody's reaction, seeing how many people also came back from the
09:33first time.
09:34It's just another reminder about how drag like really brings us all together.
09:39And the L.A. drag community and whatever facet that you're in and whatever part that you're in, like it
09:45really is tight knit.
09:46No matter how many of us, you know, come and go like we really do come together and support each
09:52other.
09:52And I think this show is going to be like the L.A. local like cult classic.
09:56Like anytime we talk about performing it, everybody's going to show up.
10:03I'm feeling rejuvenated again. I want to do a whole nother run of the play.
10:07You're the next Meryl Streep.
10:08That's what I heard.
10:10You taught her everything she knows.
10:11Natural and raw talent.
10:13Yes.
10:14Please do not forget to support your local drag performers.
10:19Tip a girl a dollar, don't play with a dollar.
10:21Support drag kings.
10:23Also, if you want to see this show in your local city, please comment below.
10:28Let somebody know or tell a friend to tell a friend to tell a couple of producers
10:32to give us some money so we can come out there.
10:35Please.
10:37And of course, if you want some more Hershey McCord Jatay from the legendary House of Jatay,
10:41please do not forget to watch All Stars 11, premiering May 8th on Paramount Plus and
10:47WOW Presents Plus.
10:48See you there.
10:49Here we go!
