00:00Look, Knicks are favored by seven, seven and a half tonight.
00:03Six and a half.
00:04Okay.
00:05Well, you get your numbers.
00:07Don't matter to me.
00:09Prohibitive favorites tonight.
00:11But so would a thunder last night.
00:12Obviously, the Cavs coming off a seven-game series, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:17Only one day off, same crap that you wussies in Philadelphia came up with.
00:21You know, it's not fair to have to play seven games
00:23and only have to hang out one day off before playing a tough series
00:26against a well-rested team.
00:27Well, my idea to you would be then win quicker.
00:30Not my fault, Knicks are the most dominant playoff team
00:32thus far this year in the Eastern Conference.
00:35Okay.
00:36Now, look, I respect Donovan Mitchell.
00:39You bet.
00:40He's a great ball player.
00:41But James Harden is not in the playoffs.
00:44You're correct.
00:44Well-documented.
00:45You're correct.
00:46He's got more games where he's got more playoff games
00:49in which he had more turnovers and points
00:51than any player in the history of basketball.
00:53I think it's 44 now, playoff games, with more turnovers than points.
00:58People have said that your math is very wrong there.
01:00People are very mad about that.
01:01No, no.
01:01That's a fact.
01:02That's a stat.
01:03People are very upset.
01:04Okay.
01:04Because they're doing how many playoff games?
01:06You were peeing is only going to anger people more.
01:08Well, fine.
01:09I'll piss more people off.
01:10That's fine.
01:11Okay.
01:12I've done my due diligence on this series.
01:14Okay.
01:15And I've done it objectively.
01:17And I love Kenny Atkinson.
01:18Matter of fact, I wanted Kenny Atkinson for the Knicks.
01:21He's a really good coach.
01:22A number of years ago.
01:22I think he's a really good coach.
01:23He did a great job in Brooklyn until the trio forced him out.
01:26Yep.
01:27And maybe he's not the right coach for superstar talent.
01:29I don't know.
01:31Kenny Atkinson, Long Island kid, is a great head coach,
01:34not a good head coach.
01:35And the Cavs got a gem there.
01:37So let me just acknowledge that.
01:38Matter of fact, as good a job as Mike Brown has done,
01:40this postseason, because he's been brilliant, I think,
01:43this postseason, Kenny Atkinson overall,
01:46I think he's a better coach than Mike Brown.
01:48I agree.
01:48Okay.
01:49So this shows you how objective I'm being
01:50when I handicap this series.
01:52Mm-hmm.
01:53Jared Allen is a marshmallow.
01:55Always has been.
01:56Always will be.
01:57He don't want none of that smoke.
01:59Yeah, but he's playing against Cat.
02:01So it's not like Cat.
02:02Cat's a man now.
02:02No, he's not.
02:03Cat's become a man.
02:04Cat is a talented player.
02:06But let's not act like Cat's going to physically
02:08take advantage of a marshmallow.
02:10Here's your other problem.
02:11He's a marshmallow himself.
02:12They have no depth under the goal.
02:15Okay.
02:15None.
02:16They're a wing team.
02:17They're a guard team.
02:19Mm-hmm.
02:19They're an outside shooting team.
02:21Mm-hmm.
02:21So again, this comes down to a foul trouble situation.
02:24If Mitchell Robinson, right, and Carl Anthony Towns
02:29stay out of foul trouble and stay on the court,
02:32I honestly do not think the Cavaliers have an answer for them
02:36in the low post.
02:37Obviously, Cat can also play outside.
02:40Mitchell Robinson cannot.
02:41But I just think size-wise, it's a problem.
02:44Evan Mobley can, though.
02:45Evan Mobley's a great defensive player, yes.
02:47I love it.
02:48Defensive player of the year last year.
02:49And he's going to create problems at times.
02:52Here's, I'll give you the, let me be,
02:54to show you the amount of work I put into this
02:57over the last couple days.
02:58Once Cleveland beat Detroit in game seven.
03:01Here's what's interesting to me.
03:03What's interesting to me is who do the Cavs use
03:07to guard Jalen Brunson?
03:10That's what's interesting to me.
03:12Because if you're going to tell me you're going to try
03:15to get one of your bigger guys out there
03:16that you'll waste fouls on just to try to hamper Jalen
03:20and guard him 94 feet, that'll be interesting to me.
03:24Yes.
03:25The flip side of that, and a part of the Knicks game
03:28that does not get a lot of attention from outsiders
03:31is how good they are defensively.
03:34Josh Hart's a great defensive player.
03:36He is.
03:37All right.
03:37Mikael Bridges was great defensively against your Sixers
03:41and in games four, five, and six against Atlanta.
03:45Yeah.
03:45What he did to Tyrese Maxey, he deserves a medal.
03:48He completely took him out of the game.
03:50Right.
03:51And then you have O'Jan and OB,
03:53who obviously prior to hurting the hamstring
03:55was, I thought, the most consistent player the Knicks had.
03:58The Knicks have size and great defense
04:01that the Cavs don't have.
04:03Now, if you tell me that James Harden and Donovan Mitchell
04:07are both scoring 26 to 34 a night,
04:11yeah, they're going to be a problem.
04:12And that can happen early to see.
04:13Harden, if it gets a five, six, especially a six and seven,
04:17Harden will disappear.
04:18But there is a chance against.
04:20Now, he was great in game six against Detroit.
04:21Right.
04:21And then he was bad in game seven,
04:23but he only had the one turnover.
04:24But he is capable to get you 40 in game one or two.
04:27And if he does, they now get the steal.
04:29They steal a series.
04:30So, again, I think tonight's all Knicks.
04:32The only thing that'll be interesting is first quarter tonight
04:34is their rust.
04:36Yeah.
04:36There's no rhythm to the Knicks right now.
04:38But outside of that, I think tonight's all Knicks.
