00:03one thing that came out over the past couple weeks was dante's letter to the governor about
00:07mental health just curious if he had any conversations with you during that process
00:10and what it's like kind of see your team leader step up and be a leader for people outside the
00:15program people around the state yeah we have conversations all the time not necessarily just
00:19about that we have we talk about a lot of stuff and you know dante's his own man i'm proud
00:22that
00:22he's uh has a willingness to speak up with the platform that he has
00:28yeah obviously dante is one of those guys who you know had the opportunity to go to the nfl but
00:34chose to stay just your thoughts on some of the biggest reasons why that group of guys decided to
00:39come back i mean every every person makes the best decision for them and uh obviously he he's one that
00:44made a unique decision i think you're you're trying to decide what's the best situation for yourself
00:51and what do you want you know what do you want to accomplish right there's some goals you only get
00:55a
00:55limited amount of time you get to play college football that's a separator you know once that
00:58time expires the time expires and every one of those guys recognize there's an opportunity for
01:03them to get better there's some things that they want to accomplish at oregon that they couldn't
01:06accomplish if they left i think it speaks volumes about you know where they feel like they can grow
01:11and what they can do to help this team go where it needs to go
