00:42with this but you don't need to be famous to tap into this business model let me explain a little
00:47bit what i'm talking about we're living in a completely new economy right now an economy
00:51where people don't enjoy buying from faceless corporations anymore they buy from people they
00:56trust it's called the creator economy and it's growing even faster than almost anything we've
01:01seen before and right now there's everyday people tapping into this creator economy making more than
01:07doctors and lawyers without degrees without prior experience and without having to be a big time
01:12youtuber or something in fact they're not even making any videos they're not going viral they're just
01:17quietly earning this money on the sidelines and often no one has even heard of the people that are
01:23making this money you don't need a single follower on social media and you can run this whole thing
01:28from your phone in just a couple of hours per day now i have been building businesses online since
01:33before 2010 and i've seen a lot of business models come and go and i can tell you with absolute
01:38certainty this is one of the simplest business models to get going on if you want to build a real
01:43business online and make real money this year so what is this business model that i'm talking about
01:49it's a completely new way to build online stores that flips the whole model on its head instead of
01:54wasting time trying to build a brand or find customers to come click on your store and buy stuff
01:58you're going to set up a store where traffic is already waiting because if you ever tried drop
02:04shipping or any kind of online e-commerce model one of the hardest things to do is actually find
02:09people and get them to come and click on your store to buy stuff almost setting up the store is
02:14the
02:14easy part but with this approach you're skipping that completely because in just a second i'm going
02:19to show you a free traffic source that sends targeted ready to buy customers straight to your
02:25store without paying anything for ads without having any social media followers without any guesswork
02:30and when you plug this existing avalanche of customers into an online store results can start

03:05started for free right there i'm just going to click on continue with google right here and then we get

03:10this screen and i am just going to click i'm a content creator i'm going to click youtube how many
03:15followers do i have below 50k again don't worry about these things just fill out these steps just
03:20like i am i'm just going to check designing products right here and then right here i'm going to check
03:25yes i have a sales channel in mind and then we have to choose where to sell our products we're
03:31going
03:31to click shopify and then i'm just going to say i heard about them on youtube i mean printify
03:35it's a pretty big company but after you get through that you're going to get to a page it looks
03:39something like this now if you haven't heard of printify before the nice thing is they're going
03:43to handle everything for you the shipping manufacturing the products fulfillment you
03:47never have to touch anything they handle the payments and everything for you now if you look
03:51here at all the different types of things that you can offer for sale i mean they offer
03:55everything from t-shirts to hoodies to phone cases mugs pet products and to get started
04:02we're going to click browse products and it's going to bring us to this screen to get us started
04:07creating our first product i'm just going to click clothing and apparel and you can see right here
04:11here's some different clothing items that we can sell i'll just stick with me here i'm going to click
04:15on this t-shirt here and you can see now you can actually design a product you can put logos
04:20on it
04:20you can put a face on it you can put anything that you want on this shirt and it's super
04:24simple to
04:25make and they have all kinds of little logos that you can add on there you can even bring in
04:29some images from shutterstock if you want or you can even create an ai image right here to go on
04:35this t-shirt so let's just say i wanted to add this on there a new day you can see

04:39just puts that logo directly on the shirt and it'll give you an instant mock-up right here of what
04:45that
04:45shirt would look like on a real person now i know you're probably wondering okay this all seems pretty
04:49simple how do i make money with it well here's the basic idea you're actually not going to create a
04:54store for yourself what you're going to do is you're going to build and manage a store for someone
05:00that already has a following someone that already has an audience of rabid followers that want to buy
05:07stuff from them people like youtubers maybe even people like me influencers even local businesses
05:13that have a loyal base of customers that would love to buy t-shirts and hats and things like that
05:19with their logo on them and what this is called is being a creator commerce manager you can do a
05:25google for that phrase if you want to find out more about it but it's completely changing the way people
05:29are making money online this year so instead of spending months building a store and then spending
05:33many many months trying to get people to come to that store to buy your products you skip all that
05:38because the creator or the business already has a fan base of customers to buy things and all you're
05:45doing is setting up the back end the store the products and the fulfillment and you're going to
05:49take a percentage of every sale that comes through that store from the creator or the small business
05:55that you're working with so basically the creator or the influencer is going to promote the store on
06:00their social media but you're going to actually run the store for them and you're both going to make
06:04money so they get to do what they're good at which is creating content that their audience absolutely
06:09loves and you're going to do the stuff that they don't want to deal with and they probably don't even
06:13know
06:13how to deal with which is setting up and running an online store now you may say why don't they
06:18just
06:19set up a store themselves if it's so easy a lot of creators simply don't have the time to set
06:25up an
06:25online store like this and a lot of them don't even know how to do it you'd be surprised at
06:29how many
06:30creators are out there that have a loyal fan base that would love to buy t-shirts and hats and
06:34all kinds
06:35of merch with their logo on them but they have no idea how to get started and sometimes they just
06:39don't
06:39have time for example i'm running an online business myself and i didn't have time to set
06:43up a merch store my daughter said hey dad can i set up this merch store and run it for
06:47you because
06:48i can see how busy you are and i said yes absolutely i would love that because i'll never get
06:52to it so
06:53she did this exact thing for me she set up a store for me and i let her take the
06:57profits from it now the
06:58nice thing about this arrangement with a creator or an influencer or a small business is as their
07:04audience grows and increases and the number of people watching their videos and coming into their
07:09small business and all that as their influence grows your income will grow as well without you
07:14really having to do any additional work than just run the same store that you've always been running
07:18and you saw how simple it is to get started on printify now let me show you how simple this

07:29their products and all that shopify is actually going to be the online storefront where your creator
07:35that you're partnering with is going to send their audience to now i recommend shopify because it's

07:46to talk about them here let's just take a look at this so you can see here this is the

07:50new day that we made earlier in this video and now we're just going to click on this green button
07:54connect your store and publish and here it says build your brand with shopify and we're going to
08:00click connect to shopify again the green button right here there's going to be a few simple sign
08:05up steps where you're going to have to put in some details and answer a few questions about the
08:09business that you're creating but once you end up with all that you're going to land on a page that
08:14looks something like this and we're going to click right here sign up with google we're going to click
08:18continue i'm going to click create store right here and i'm going to enter my information here we can
08:22start 100 for free and then after that it's only going to cost one dollar per month for three months
08:29so it gives you a long runway to get started with this without having to pay shopify hardly anything
08:34and then we're going to get to this page right here and you can see that black button browse product
08:40sourcing apps so we're going to click that and you want to find the printify app because remember
08:46printify is the company that's going to be printing and creating all these products and shipping them out
08:50so we want to connect our shopify store with the printify account that we set up earlier in the
08:54video so i'm just going to type in printify here and then i'm going to click on install so again
08:59this
08:59is going to connect our printify account with our shopify store it's going to click install right there
09:05and the next step is see over here on the right it says generate custom themes we're going to click
09:10on
09:10that and the awesome thing is shopify has an ai builder that's going to build almost the entire store
09:15for you right here so we're just going to type in the kind of products that we want to sell
09:19i'm just
09:19going to type in fitness apparel just as an example you can pick any kind of store that matches the
09:25creator that you're partnering with or the small business that you're partnering with and click
09:28generate themes and you see here i'm going to click on view demo so you can see this theme that

09:32created and look at that it's an entire theme built specifically if you had a store that was
09:37for a fitness creator and it's all ready to be customized with whatever creator or small business
09:44that you're working with and putting their branding on the products now one additional tip

09:53domain is because your website will end in dot store instead of dot com it automatically tells
09:59people when they click on it that they're going there to buy something now a detailed study showed
10:05that websites on a dot store domain get 87 more traffic and double the rankings on google not only that
10:12but big names like mr beast rihanna michelle obama and over 1.5 million other sellers all use dot store

10:58to be clear about something this is not traditional print on demand where you're struggling to get
11:02traffic from etsy or amazon or google in those traditional models you're always competing with
11:08tons of other stores desperately trying to get noticed but with the creator commerce manager
11:13business model you're leveraging the audience of the small business or the creator or the
11:18influencer you're working with and all those people that are watching their videos or visiting
11:22their instagram or their tick tock are already engaged with them and ready to buy and you're not
11:26competing with anyone actually you're the only store available to sell the products from that
11:32creator so you're going to be using the logos the photos the catchphrases whatever the audience
11:38already recognizes and loves and simply putting it on merchandise so you don't even have to be a
11:43designer let me show you an example of this i want you to look at this site beetle merch now
11:47beetle is a comedy influencer he's pretty big on social media and someone has used this exact
11:54business model to create a store for beetle to manage all of his merch and look at how simple
12:00this is this is not complicated this is literally just his logo and an image of him here on these
12:06shirts with us with a catchphrase that his audience will recognize and they've got they've got his image
12:10on hoodies t-shirts and even baseball caps like this now these sell like crazy because beetle's audience
12:17already has a connection with him and wants to buy products with his face and logos on now for most
12:23merch like this you want to price your products at two and a half to three times your cost if
12:29the
12:29t-shirt that you're selling costs ten dollars to print and produce you want to sell it for 25 to
12:3430
12:35and the beautiful part is like you saw you can set up this entire store for just a few dollars
12:40and then you're gonna ask the creator for 10 to 20 of the revenue which is completely reasonable
12:45because the creator is literally doing zero work to get the money now i'm going to show you exactly
12:51how to find creators to work with with this business model in just a second but i do want to
12:56be up front
12:56with you there is some ongoing work with this business model you're gonna have to manage the
13:01store and you're gonna have to deal with any kind of customer service emails and things like that
13:05coming in and really the most work is going to be actually finding a creator to work with and i'm
13:11going to show you how to do that in just a second but it is going to involve actually contacting
13:15these creators you're going to have to talk to them on the phone and you're going to have to sell
13:18yourself as a creator commerce manager to them so if this intimidates you and you don't feel
13:23comfortable talking to people you don't know on the phone i've created a business model that you
13:27can get to in the link in the description of this video that's more for introverted people doesn't
13:31involve a ton of phone sales and in fact my own kids set it up and they did the whole
13:35thing through
13:36email so if you don't want to have to contact creators and convince them to work with you i totally
13:41understand just click on the link in the description of this video get my free class it's very similar in
13:46that it works with small businesses and you make money whenever the small business makes a sale but
13:53in the business model in the link in the description there's almost zero sales or convincing of anybody
13:58involved and the whole thing runs on autopilot so just click on that if that appeals to you but let's
14:03say you want to get into this whole creator economy and you like what i'm talking about here finding
14:07these creators to work with is easier than you might think i'd recommend focusing on mid-sized
14:12creators that have somewhere between 10 000 and half a million followers and you can find that
14:17out just by going to their youtube or instagram or whatever and usually it tells you right here at
14:23the top how many followers they have you can see at the point of recording this video i have 203
14:28000
14:28subscribers and i actually might be a good candidate for something like this if i hadn't already
14:32given the task to my daughter to set this up but the reason why i'm saying between 10 000 and
14:37half a
14:38million followers is that if you go below 10 000 followers they're probably not making enough money
14:43or even really getting enough views to really justify setting up a merch store you probably won't
14:47make that much money if they have less than 10 000 followers and if they have over half a million
14:52followers they've probably already got a merch provider set up they probably already have a creator
14:58manager who's working for them because everyone's out to get the really big creators out there to work
15:04with them but in this middle range is the sweet spot where they have enough of an audience to generate
15:09good sales but they probably aren't so big that they have teams of people building this kind of
15:13thing for them yet and i'll give you a tip if you work with older creators maybe even older creator
15:18like
15:18me they might not be as tech savvy as the younger ones and setting up an online store might be
15:24even
15:24more intimidating for them where you can come in and set it up and they won't even know how simple
15:28it
15:28was for you after you identify a list of creators that meet this criteria you're going to send them
15:32a direct message i've actually put the text to that direct message directly in the description
15:38of this video you can just click on it copy and paste it and send it out but basically you're
15:43offering to set up an online store for them for free that's what's going to really attract their
15:48attention you're not going to charge them anything for the setup anything to get it all going all
15:52you're asking is to share the revenue that comes from the store you can get the exact text in
15:57the description you can just copy and paste it and you can use this exact same message for small
16:02businesses as well i'm talking about coffee shops gyms restaurants any store that already has an
16:08established brand and likely doesn't have the technical knowledge to know how to set up a print
16:13on demand store with printify like i just showed you a lot of times small businesses like to give
16:18away this type of merchandise as well you've probably been to a bank or somewhere where they gave
16:22you a free pen or a free hat believe me someone using this exact business model is making money
16:28off of that bank just because the bank had to pay someone to get those pens created
16:34with their name and logo and address and phone number on now at the beginning of this video i
16:39showed you some examples of normal people like you and me making money with this but even big names
16:44are getting in on this for example emma chamberlain turned her name and personal brand into chamberlain
16:50coffee which is now generating 22 million dollars in annual revenue obviously then there's mr beast who's
16:56most famous example where his chocolate brand feastables did over 10 million dollars in the
17:02first year or even think about logan paul and ksi's prime hydration drink which hit a billion dollar
17:08valuation faster than almost any product in history so i hope i've shown you enough proof that this is an
17:14amazing business model that's absolutely blowing up right now and it never was possible before social
17:20media and creators and youtube and instagram and tiktok came on the scene and you can jump in and
17:26take advantage of this creator economy right now if you take action on this video or again if this
