00:05Obviously the doctor has been charged with 148 counts of rape and sexual assault.
00:11Those include 94 charges of rape and 54 counts of sexual assault.
00:17So he was charged this morning, his name is now Mr Stelius Stan Theodorus.
00:24Police are going to allege that essentially between the early 2000s to 2015,
00:2915 patients were sexually assaulted allegedly by the doctor at a healthcare centre in Brisbane.
00:37In news of those charges being laid today, one of the patients said,
00:41you know, it's been a long time coming, that there's a sense of relief
00:44and he will appear before Brisbane's Magistrates Court on June 23rd.
