Lara shows children| How to grow and harvest food on her no dig allotment| Charles Dowding
The best kind of school!! Enjoy with the children this no dig beauty and bounty. Lara has created a beautiful setting for them to grow food, love the outdoors and have fun!
We were fortunate to catch them all on a beautiful morning in August. You can feel the joy and wonder in a most beautiful setting. The allotment is near Yeovil in Somerset, Southwest England, just 12 miles/20 km from Homeacres.
Lara Honnor was an actress and lived in London. Then she developed breast cancer, healed, and started a new life. As well as doing this, she works as a no dig gardener, after learning from me while working at Homeacres in 2017.
Daniel Romans-Hay is a chef working to set up a no dig garden at a school in Streatham, London. You can contact him on Instagram @wotsup.doc.
Lara's ambition is to open Skool Beanz plots nationwide.
Filming is by Nicola Smith, after Edward had broken his wrist! He edited, after Nicola's excellent work with the iPhone.
