00:00I have market-gardened for three and a half decades and all that time I'm looking for
00:06cheaper and quicker, easier ways to produce the food. This channel is a distillation of
00:14that experience and I'm sharing with you these methods to help you grow food more quickly,
00:20more easily and enjoy it more. I explain how my no-dig method means fewer weeds and more to eat.
00:30For example, you can see in different videos how I started this garden in 2013 without any cultivation
00:37of the weedy pasture, see how you can create clean soil by mulching and how to crop all year without
00:45fertilizers or amendments. You discover the skills to grow great plants so that your time spent gardening
00:52and growing brings more worthwhile results. Use my explanations of watering, seed saving,
00:59side shooting, picking and feeding the soil every year but only once a year to set you up to grow
01:05more enjoyably in your garden. A super useful skill is to propagate plants and it's in many videos,
01:12especially the ones on multi-sowing. See how you can make your ground even more productive and for
01:17longer in the year. For example, by planting again in the summer. There are details of growing vegetables
01:23such as onions, beetroot, spinach, peas for pods and shoots and coriander all covered in the how to grow
01:30series where you see them being sown, grown and harvested and always with less need to weed
01:37using the no-dig method.
