00:13After the paranormal team wrapped up their investigation last summer,
00:16things have certainly died down in Shepardstown, that's for sure.
00:21The problem is, I'm beginning to get all types of strange reports from the neighboring towns.

00:27I was referred by Martinsburg Police.
00:34You know, maybe it's bigger than what I thought.
00:36Well, maybe it's bigger than Shepardstown.
00:40Last year, we had a very significant spike in unusual emergency calls.
00:46I gotta tell you, I've never seen anything like it in my 36 years of police work.
00:53I assembled a team of top paranormal investigators
00:56to help us solve some of these bizarre cases.

01:07A lot of folks already believe Shepardstown is the most haunted town in the country.

01:47So the Charlestown Fire Department went in there.

01:52But the manager had some pretty strange stories to tell them, and they said it was, quote, paranormal.

01:58So how close is Charlestown to the Potomac River?

04:47and that's when I smelled the smoke

05:11just kind of felt really dark and claustrophobic
05:15like there's something down there that wants to trap me
05:29I felt
05:30like something walked right through me
05:32my skin got really flushed and hot
05:35like every cell of my body was touched
05:40I just had to get out of there
05:43you felt warm like the sensation of something like a heat signature
05:47yeah almost like I was like in a spotlight or by the fire and I felt other things here before
05:53but nothing like that
05:55typically in a paranormal experience you will feel the sensation of a cold mask but I think this is very
06:00rare where she felt this heat
06:02and warmer temperatures can sometimes point to something darker and more negative
06:07have the kids actually experienced something this dramatic that you just had happen to you
06:12nothing like this the kids will always ask me if there are ghosts here and you know I've I've always
06:18said oh you know there's nothing negative here
06:20but whatever was in the basement that's new I want to make sure that this sort of thing doesn't happen
06:26to them not when they're around or to anybody because
06:32what was that something literally just fell behind the stage

10:41which went along the lines
10:43of this theme with water

10:45the same thing
10:45with Nina's house
10:46in Sharpsburg

10:48but then
10:49we ended up
10:49yeah we ended up
10:50in Martinsburg
10:50and there was no
10:50water theme there
10:51exactly
10:52this is kind of like
10:53moving us further away
10:56and then now
10:56we're taking on
10:57this case in Charlestown
10:58back to Charlestown
11:00so that's two cases now
11:01that are moving us away
11:02from this water theme
11:04but Shepherdstown
11:05is still the hub of it all
11:06it's like still
11:06the central point
11:07of the activity
11:09during our investigation
11:10in Shepherdstown
11:11last year
11:11we were able to connect
11:12all the cases together
11:13to a woman
11:14from the 1700s
11:15who was drowned
11:17in the Potomac River
11:18because the villagers
11:19thought she was a witch
11:20but these new hauntings
11:22seem to involve
11:23some sort of negative
11:24male presence
11:25that doesn't appear
11:26to have anything
11:26to do with the river
11:27at all
11:28so what's the first theme
11:29that we started recognizing
11:31at all these locations
11:32I would still consider
11:33water as a possible theme
11:35even though we're
11:35moving away
11:36there's definitely
11:37some sort of
11:39underground theme
11:41because all these locations
11:43we end up in the basement
11:44male presence
11:45seems to be a theme
11:46from all of our
11:47investigations so far
11:48this dark
11:49darker entity

11:51under that is attachment

11:55this dark entity
11:55is definitely trying

11:59the first stages

13:40by caves recently either

13:46definitely another
13:46scene I think of ours

24:35named Annie G. Packett
24:37she was a socialite
24:39a maven of the arts
24:41and influential person
24:43whose family tree
24:45included George Washington
24:46and in 1910
24:49Annie single-handedly
24:51raised $50,000
24:52to construct
24:54a 500 seat theater
24:55she hired
24:57the most prominent
24:59architect
25:00in Washington D.C.
25:01to design
25:02and build it
25:02and in 1911
25:05the new opera house
25:07opened
25:13and brought in
25:14a new era
25:15of music
25:16and theater
25:18and culture
25:19to Charlestown
25:25this was her baby
25:27I wouldn't be surprised
25:28if she stayed around
25:30to protect it
25:31but did she actually
25:32pass away
25:33in the opera house though

25:35she didn't pass away
25:36in the building
25:37but I do have
25:37her death record here
25:38she passed away

25:44of heart and kidney problems

27:31massive cave

27:34the biggest clue of them all

27:37we thought we've been dealing
27:38with different dark entities
