00:45Last year, we had a very significant spike in unusual emergency calls.
00:52I got to tell you, I've never seen anything like it in my 36 years of police work.
00:59I assembled a team of top paranormal investigators to help us solve some of these bizarre cases.
01:12A lot of folks already believe Shepherdstown is the most haunted town in the country.
01:16But now, the dark presence is back.

05:06I looked in my rear view mirror.
05:11I saw a woman.
05:13I spun around and looked, but she was gone.
05:17And then suddenly I heard a loud bang.

05:23I just thought my car had backfired.

05:29I thought maybe her imagination got away with her a little bit.

05:54After that happened, I've had nightmares about this woman.

06:22I know those were just nightmares, but tonight was different.

06:41So she just appeared in the mirror behind you and you saw her that clearly?

06:50And then she came into my bedroom.
06:52I was reading in bed and I didn't believe her.
06:55I thought she's just had a long day or a bad dream.

07:02Suddenly we hear this loud bang.
07:10And we heard this woman's voice.
07:12I looked at my mom and I knew she was hearing the same thing.
07:22The door was shut, not locked.

07:36The person I heard talking behind the door was a pleading sound.

12:50We're looking for this cave entrance right here in Shepherdstown to figure out if this negative presence is here.

18:54is definitely significant to me, because that shows that there's something connected,
18:58some sort of energy to this symbol, and it has paranormal activity happening around it.

19:14This is the second time we've found upside down crosses in Shepherdstown,
19:17and if we look at Shepherdstown as being the epicenter of all the activity,
19:21then there must be some kind of pattern that links each one of our cases together.

19:38So we have five locations outside of Shepherdstown.
19:43Five's a powerful number in numerology and in religion as well.
19:48In Christianity, it's the five wounds of Christ.
19:52On the old tarot cards, it was the Pope, number five.
19:56So if we were to just profile this negative presence a little bit,
20:01case one in Harper's Ferry, we captured that image of that dark mass.

20:08And Nina's house, that ancient voice came through on the Geo port.

20:21Back in Martinsburg at Boydvale Manor, Jen Fortune was possessed.
20:26There was also that dark negative energy there as well.

20:38Don't forget Ashley had that experience where she said she felt like somebody walked through her.

20:45And in Martinsburg and Middleway, we found those limestone caves that basically led us right back to Shepherdstown.

21:54Historically speaking, demons are much more powerful than spirits.
21:58And if this demon is what woke up all these ghosts we've been encountering, maybe it also woke up the
22:04falsely accused witch that brought us to Shepherdstown last year.
22:08What scares me is, it's not like a spirit where you see the ghost of somebody. A demon can actually
22:15get into your mind.
22:16Demons are much more powerful than anything we dealt with so far here in Shepherdstown.
22:21They can disguise themselves, they can telepathically mess with your head, and they can possess individual people.
22:27And if Kate, what she's experiencing, feeling like something is stalking her, and it has anything to do with this
22:34demon, then she could be in serious trouble.

42:18It's targeting people who can actually see or sense its presence at all these locations.
42:23So this demon is using ghosts to literally bait human prey.
42:30That's a scary thought. I mean, if you think about it, empaths, sensitives, it's like they have the ability already
42:36to tune into these other dimensions.
42:39There are entities like demons exist.
42:41It's almost like they are the perfect prey to be possessed because then that enables the demon to come into
42:47our reality.
42:48There's actually a theory amongst the paranormal community called the thinning of the veil between the spirit world and our
42:55reality.
42:56More and more people are opening themselves up to the possibility of experiencing paranormal phenomena.
43:02But at the same time, it's also dangerous because now we're dealing with these more demonic entities and that leaves
43:08people wide open to being possessed.
43:11That could totally explain the increase of paranormal activity recently.
43:15This demon is trying to wake up as many ghosts as possible to find somebody vulnerable enough so it can
