Today’s work, [The Child & The Wings], was written based on the core theories of the pioneer of existential philosophy, Friedrich Nietzsche: "Eternal Recurrence" and the "Three Metamorphoses of the Spirit" (The Camel, The Lion, and The Child). Nietzsche proposed the path of the Übermensch (Overman)—one who overcomes the terror of "Eternal Recurrence," the idea that every moment of life repeats forever, and chooses to love that fate. In this work, the ceaseless rotation of the Ferris wheel and carousel in an amusement park visualizes the never-ending shackles of destiny.

The line "The overman’s eyes hidden behind a sweet lollipop" symbolizes the massive will hidden behind a playful exterior. Furthermore, the declaration "Amor Fati—the only burning star inside my chest" sings the essence of Nietzschean philosophy: the willingness to embrace even repeated suffering with love.

Not a prison of a repeating daily routine, but a wheel of a joyful game that I turn myself. As you face the designer's courage to choose this eternally repeating moment once again, I hope you enjoy a time of pleasant contemplation, passionately embracing your own destiny.
