Today’s featured work, [Agencement], was written based on the core theories of the revolutionary modern philosophers Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari: "Desire-Machines (Machines désirantes)" and "Agencement (Arrangement/Assemblage)." Deleuze did not view humans as fixed subjects, but as an arrangement of "desire-machines" that constantly combine with their environment (technology, space, tools) to create new forces. This project visualizes a "hacker-like leader" who does not exist as a mere component of the system but uses the laws of that system in reverse to program a new reality.
In the video, Luna is organically "arranged" (agencement) with her tablet, crystals, and the urban nightscape. The blue light and sparks emanating from her fingertips are not mere visual effects, but physical manifestations of her producing the massive power source that drives the world. Her suit and heels are merely a disguise, and through the transcendent abilities hidden beneath, she has become the system itself, restructuring reality according to her own will.
The line "Agencement! Connecting the nodes, Ignite the blue flame!" in the lyrics sings of a creative subject who weaves scattered fragments into her own unique order. Furthermore, the declaration "I’m the engine, the power inside the machine" reflects the commanding dignity of a sovereign designer who operates the massive machinery of the city.
A time to stop conforming to the specs set by the world and become the law of the system yourself.
