00:00Let me go over to the NBA with you here.
00:02How surprised are you in the play of Jalen Brunson?
00:06If I'm not mistaken, correct me here, Jay.
00:09Wasn't he a second-rounder out of Nova?
00:11I mean, have you been surprised with how he's elevated his game?
00:15I know he didn't want to leave Dallas, but, man, he is just killing it in New York.
00:21Have you been surprised with his play?
00:23I think everybody who watched Jalen play in high school, college, and after has to admit they're surprised.
00:34Not that he's been successful in the NBA.
00:36That's not a surprise.
00:38But the level at which he plays, all-NBA level, I don't think anybody saw this coming, including Jay Wright,
00:47his coach.
00:49You don't want to put limits on anybody, but pleasantly surprised.
00:54But you could say the same thing about somebody like Draymond Green out of Michigan State.
00:58He got drafted in the 30s when he came out.
01:01I think that was 2011 or so.
01:04Yeah, you have to be a little surprised at some of this stuff.
01:07We think we know.
01:08You have beliefs, but you really don't know.
01:11But that's about as pleasant a surprise as you can get, and especially watching him play with his group right
01:18now.
01:18They've got a legitimate shot, I think, to win a championship this year.
