RARE MAMMATUS CLOUDS APPEAR OVER ILLINOIS AFTER TORNADO
WITH VID
By Soban Aslam
Watch as rare mammatus clouds form across the sky after a tornado passed near an Illinois town.
Ana Murillo captured the unusual weather phenomenon in Bloomington, Illinois, USA on April 27th.
The video shows massive pouch-like clouds hanging low across the sky in glowing orange and pink tones.
As the formations stretch overhead, the person filming compares the clouds to “bubble wrap” while reacting in amazement.
The dramatic display appeared shortly after a tornado moved through the nearby area.
The clip was shared on Tiktok where one user commented: "wow beautiful, seems like the simulation is broken."
Another added: "Thank you for sharing this with everyone. They’re incredible!"
