STORM CHASER CAPTURES MENACING CLOUDS AS TORNADO THREAT LOOMS
WITH VID
BY JAIANSH SHARMA
Check out this dramatic moment a driver appears to head straight toward a powerful storm system as ominous clouds gather over Manitoba.
Brandan Griffith, from Richer, Manitoba, Canada captured the striking footage while driving west of Richer toward Sainte-Anne.
The video shows a massive shelf cloud stretching across the sky, with dark, churning clouds and an eerie green glow illuminating one side of the storm.
As the severe weather intensifies, the driver warns residents to take shelter and stay away from windows, noting that what appeared to be the beginning of a tornado was forming beneath the lowering cloud base.
Brandan said: “I literally am driving into a tornado. Our little town has never seen anything like this before!”
