00:00It's a shame that he's resigned but he can't be that. I'm trying to prime minister as far as I
00:06know. I don't know much but that's what somebody was saying yesterday to me. So yeah if that's
00:14what he's going to do. Obviously nobody knows what that 17-minute chat was yesterday morning
00:20which was quite strange but people are saying yeah if they don't rally they're going to have
00:28the other people within Labour and I don't think we love them. Wes Streeting whose constituency was
00:36North Ilford in North East London resigned as Health Secretary saying he had concluded that it would be
00:43dishonourable and unprincipled to continue in the cabinet under Sir Keir. He was replaced by James
00:50Murray the former Chief Secretary to the Treasury and it follows days of turmoil in which calls have
00:57mounted for the Prime Minister to step down in the wake of Labour's election struggle last week.
01:04With the Conservatives when they were in power Labour said oh we'll come in and do this and
01:09we'll do this but I think they've realised that they can't actually because there isn't
01:13endless funds out there. They're on unless you put the taxes on. So I don't think any politician would
01:19sort it out. I must admit I'm always saying to him out of all of those uh people that would
01:26be
01:27standing possibly I I do like uh Wes Streeting better than the other I mean than Andy Furner more yeah.
01:44I think I think he's got a fresh approach for the National Health Service uh and I do like that
01:50he
01:51is uh clamping down on wastage and putting his foot down on that and trying to improve it but
01:57I think they're all the same. They make big promises but they don't actually you know they don't
02:05actually do anything about it. Wes Streeting is a good MP I don't think he's ready for leadership
02:09right now to be honest um I think they need to give Starmer more time and Labour need more time.
02:17I think all this trying to turn it you know change the leadership right in midfro doesn't really work
02:24we've seen that with the Conservatives. I think we just need to give them more time and be a little
02:30bit more sensible. There's a lot of issues to solve and I don't think rapidly changing it is going to
02:36help it's going to make it worse I think personally. To me it's kind of hitting this which is reflecting
02:41the fact he's scraped by an independent by 500 votes. You get a big thing on the health service
02:49is anything really changing. Would you vote for him now if there was a general election tomorrow?
02:53Honestly he's still the best of a mediocre lot around here.
